Pens hoped people would forget, and then brought him back. He'll be in charge probably for pre-season to practice screwing other teams over, after all the time off, in preparation for the regular season
so start a petition. raise awareness and have people WRITE in their disapproval (not email, not call, not fax)... but send a letter expressing your concern.
You'd be surprised how just a handful of people writing in mail over an issue gets noticed.
See, email, fax and phone calls are easy. But for every 1 person who takes the time to write in mail their issue... it's almost assumed (from a statistics standpoint) that a buttload of people DONT bother. So, for example: if 10 people wrote in to the league / his employment over hte issue, it'll be regarded almost as if 100 people called.
While this is 100% true, do you honestly think that if the league had a problem with this they wouldn't be able to prevent it? I mean, I realize Bettman's no David Stern; he's more like David Stern ultralite...but if the league took this seriously (and it's a joke that they apparently don't/didn't) they could absolutely strong-arm the network into not bringing this guy back.
