Broons at the Panthers in Rochester

Figured I'd start this now as GR has put the lineup out and it's something that's worth talking about. (well, imo it is )

vs.

Here's the Cats' lineup for tomorrow night's game: (love that Guds is playing again, btw)

Booth-Weiss-Frolik

Higgins-Reinprecht-Stillman

McArdle-Reasoner-Bitz

Peters-Foster-Thomas

McCabe-Kulikov

Allen-Gudbranson

Ellerby-Wideman

Vokoun; Plante

Keaton Smellerby is also playing for the second time. Those appear to be the only two players who're going to play in both games.

Is anyone else kinda impressed with Ellerby(albeit only one game). He seems a lot more assertive out there and he looks HUGE. I know he didn't grow but Kevin O. said he gained something like 20lbs or so. Kinda nuts he put on that much weight. I guess he needed it down-low, beneath the hash marks against big bruising forwards.

Surprised that we're going with a lot of the NHL-level guys in this one instead of prospects and fringe players.

Good. He needs it. He looks scrawnier than I am on his Facebook.

Horton playing tonight against the Habs and scored his first goal as Bruin already.
I wonder if he plays tomorrow too? I don't think he would play back to back games but who knows. Soupy is playing tonight too.

Assisted by Bartkowski, our 7th rounder we dealt with Seidenberg.. I actually really liked him

EDIT: 2 assists in 1st for Bart-K

That goal was a gift given by Price

but he's been looking good so far in the first period

I think that's a pretty nice gesture.

He was very solid last night. He broke up a lot of plays and used his speed to get pucks out of the zone. Although, I thought he played well last season anyway. But he definitely looked more comfortable last night and I'm sure putting on all that weight helps.

It truly has been a long long summer. We're all dying for a grainy internet feed of our players playing PRE-season hockey.

It'll be on NESN up in New England so there's a good chance there will be a feed of it somewhere, just gotta find it.

Not in projected lineups. He played last night and scored a goal though.

Just an FYI: None of the three ex-Panthers are in the lineup tonight for Boston's game against Florida in Rochester.

Just checked the DirecTV lineup. NHL Network has Toronto/Philly, MSG lists Rangers/Devils. NESN shows "TBA" Best bet might be trying to find an internet stream of NESN.

The game is not on NESN tonight, that is Saturday's game. So as of now there is no TV feed for tonight.

Im wondering how Guds does after having just had a solid first game. Wonder if he will lose his intensity at all.
