i just woke up and the first thing on my mind was the fact that i'm going to the game tonight. i've listened to the goal song 3 times so far...i'm gonna go for 1 more because i think we get 4 tonight. and Zucc will have a part in one. book it.

and as for the first MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTY chant? i'll be the one to start it.

Tonight starts the skew of my sleep pattern. You'd think that'd be a bad thing... but it's not.

They're trying out different players in that spot for now. It is preseason...see how things look, give your prospects a shot to see if they can make the cut.

The Rangers would theoretically love to have Stepan make it as a legitimate first line center, but he might not be ready for that

I'm mostly intrigued to see the Frolov-Stepan-Gaborik line at work. Hopefully the kids a player off the bat. It would sure make everything a lot easier.

A team? I think it's the other way around. Other than our first line, who else? Rolston. And we have more or less two starters on defense. The Devils do play in metro NY area, you should know a little more about their team. Oh, and Marty. We basically have 4 starting forwards, 2 defensemen and 1 goaltender.

Before tonights' line-up was posted they had the projected regular season line-up there. That's what they were referring to

Don't worry, I know plenty about the team. An incorrect lineup was posted when I made that comment.

NJ basically sent their top line, goaltender, a good D pairing, and not much depth beyond that upon further analysis.

Havent seen McIntyre play since Colgate, though, and Tedenby is pretty well known. Two guys to look out for tonight probly.

Seems those Devils lines are wrong;

Devs' forwards vs. NYR:

Parise-Zajac-Kovalchuk
Rolston-Josefson-Tedenby
Zharkov-Mair-S. Gionta
Leblond-Pelley-Mills.

Devils D:

Gelinas-Volchenkov
White-Taormina
Davison-Corrente

G:
Brodeur
Frazee
