...

Can someone tell me why Broda and Palmer are not playing in pre-season? Or will they play in the next pre-season game?

thanks

I bet Palmer gets a look in the next game. They are trying to play a lot of regulars and only work a few of the youngsters in.

That Barker trade looks even worse than it did before. He gets a ton of ice and PK time and gives up goals like candy? Stoner on the ice for all five goals against? WTF.

Either these defensemen are completely clueless or the coaching is horrible on special teams. I realize it's preseason but almost putting in the gameday roster and getting blown out on special teams ain't good at all.

And Staubitz is going to get a one-way ticket to the James Sheppard Press Box if he keeps it up with the dumb penalties.

Well according to Russo, Broda and Palmer have both been sent down to the Aero's training camp. It's all good. I think they're trying to build more cohesion with the team this year.

i think they actually liked staubitz game more than the did pretty much everyone else last night--did exactly what he was supposed to do (just has to fine tune it) plus the refs were handing out penalties for a lot of rinkydink stuff on both sides. That double minor he got was for skating in and shoving (jansen?) when clutterbuck was about to get fisted.
