The clip starting at the 4 minute mark is exactly why Carolina's better this year than last. It's understandable if it was a rookie, but that was a seasoned veteran just giving away the puck at the slightest pressure.
Best of luck to you guys tonight. And most importantly, no injuries all around.
Pre-season or not I'm already treating this as a typical hockey night. I'm at work but pretty much gave up all hopes of productivity over an hour ago. I've got a change of clothes and the jersey in my truck. I have changed my office voicemail message to, "It's Thursday, September 23rd. All garage operations will cease at 3 PM due to it being hockey night in Smashville. Please leave a message or try again beginning at 7 AM on Friday, September 24th." The boss loves that one. And, finally, I have a large stash ready to spend on club level liquor.
wow. there are gonna be some ticked off people if they show up with their "four free tickets to any preseason game-must be redeemed at the BA box office" vouchers
edit: I wonder if its technically "sold out" because they are giving away tix?
I have never seen anything close to a packed house for a preseason game
following up on my own post... not sure about tonight but I confirmed that there are no lower bowl seats left for saturday night vs the caps.
if any of you were planning on walking up at gametime with your free ticket voucher you may want to call your ticket rep and go ahead and have them save you some seats or go on by the box office and get them early. the best I could do this afternoon was 318 row K.
Well that sucks, I was hoping to get to see him tonight when it didn't matter.
Skinner and the kids are supposed to see mostly home ice for now. I think the management is trying to ease everyone back in. It will most certainly be on the radio called by Chuck K... go to http://www.espntriangle.com/ and just click the listen live button on 99.9 the fan. Beware of the pre-game moron named Mike Maniscalco...
