Just confirmed that there will be a video feed tonight!!! The link is to the article that talks about it. I'm guessing the actual game link will be available from the main Hurricanes page. Yay to more hockey!!!

Concussion, out till the symptoms go down. We expect zero preseason games for him. Direct to Milwaukee.

He got run into by a Hurricane player while he had his head down. Yes.

Ack I typed in a Hurricane player, geez I'm out of it. By my perspective on the video, Klasen's head was down a bit.

he had his head down. there's no denying it. combine that with cutting across the slot at full speed and you have yourself a very dangerous situation.

but it was a dirty hit. Even flordia fans said so. Klasen had looked great at that point and deserves better.

Ok can I ask how is a hit with your head down a dirty hit. This is hockey keep your head up and it doesn't happen simple that is how we teach em up here to do it you see a guy with the puck and his head down you paste em as hard as you can.

not with a shoulder to the head. That hit is exactly what the NHL created the new rule for in the middle of last season.

Blindside headshots are always dirty. The guy stuck out his leg and tried to knee Klasen earlier in the game. Florida fans described him as a goon and called the hit dirty.

For a guy that was supposedly trying to make the team as a goon, I thought it was kinda odd he kept going after the smallest guy on the ice...but, back on topic it's 1-0 Carolina on a 5 on 3 PP goal by O'Sullivan.

The video feed and the play by play is not synced very close for me. Still nice to have.

That was a hilarious goal by Legwand. "Hey, how nice, they left the puck for me right behind the net...."

Ahh heck, I go for coffee for one minute and now it's 2-1. How'd we score?

I see it was Tootoo from the boxscore. He may make the team yet...

Lindback looked solid tonight. Is he now the favorite to win backup?

Considering his performances tonight and in the rookie camp games, I'd say...yes!

Excellent. I wasn't able to listen or watch last night's game, but I've had high expectations for Linback.

Don't throw your elbow into a guy's head and it doesn't happen either. A hit to the head is a hit to the head. Even if Klasen had his head up it would've happened. He was targeted and he was leveled. I also have a problem with teaching kids to "paste" someone for having his or head head down. I get taking them off of the puck, but intentionally hitting them harder because they aren't looking is dirty.
