My Mini Rant

So, I had to unexpectly work from 10am-10pm today, thus missing tonight's game. Just watched it all, and Giroux's shootout move was impressive. Datsyuk anyone? It's against a goalie who has won a cup before, making that much sweeter. Yet people spammed the Matt Duchene goal all around as if he was baby Jesus' father(Matt's shootout goal not long ago). I don't think Matt's goal was even in a preseason game(or a game at all).. Is Claude Giroux really that unnoticed? Oh well. There goes my mini rant, time to sleep so I can work more tomorrow..yay

That picture confirms that clowns scare me. Alot.

Regardless, Giroux won't go so unnoticed for very much longer, and not because he'll be wearing a clown suit.

I should also note, he is the much smaller in size clown of the two. Maybe that helps your view on clowns or Claude Giroux to be a little less horrific?

No, I'm pretty sure clowns still scare me. No matter the size, shape or color, I just find them creepy.

Spiders and clowns...my two biggest fears. Oh, and a Leighton/Boucher tending tandem...that scares me too.

Don't mind me. I had a root canal today and I got me some good prescription meds...

I thought all of last year that Giroux had potential to be the best shootout player in the league. I think he may very well already have the skills to be that good at it. If you asked me to take either Datsyuk or Giroux in a shootout, right now, then I'd probably take Giroux.

His style just works really well for the shootout. Giroux is all flash and tricks. Thus why we call him a magician (half-jokingly, admittedly). It's those kinds of guys that tend to do well in shootouts.

Lol@ the idea that Claude Giroux is unnoticed. I heard Pierre McGuire ****** him for like three minutes on national TV before. Called him a superstar for Christ's sake.

I actually think Giroux gets a pretty good amount of respect from knowledgeable posters. The ones that dismiss him are generally the homers that think their bottom round prospects are gods. Roo plays with passion and has awesome hands and a great hockey mind; the bubble is going to burst and I wouldn't be surprised if this was the year for him.

Giroux? I think he plays for the Oilers. Or is he the baby kangaroo on Winny the Pooh?

By the way, go start this thread on the main board so everyone can worship Duchene and call Giroux the most overrated player on the HF.

Do you just do specific things to get flamed. You are a flyers homer, get over it
