Even if we win today, we've already lost.

This is an amazing GDT! I am in awe. Seriously, this is well beyond what most professional teams could muster.

Alright, now for the begging: please allow us to score one goal. It's been nearly two games now (in the preseason!) and we really need some sort of blip on the EKG to know we're alive. Maybe let us have one in the second when it's already 4-0. We can pretend it's the start of a comeback. I'll be there; it would be nice to have something to clap about--even if it is sarcastic clapping.

^ Thank you. That is a mammoth compliment. It's provided as a source of bribery for our regular patrons.

Wild may have the best logo in the league. My favorite color is green, so that may have something to do with it.

Does that carry over to the silks and picking ponies?

LMAO. You rock Gopher.

And, I have to say - their logo IS one of my favorites...

I'm bummed. I'm finally off and can watch the game -- and their's nothing to watch.

Flyers' site lists a feed. There may be an option after all. That is probably for locals only but maybe someone will load it on an alternate site.

^ I'm sure the NHL requires all teams to have some sort of reproduction of the game even if the game isn't shown on TV. For nothing else, there has to be a source in case of acts of aggression that could warrant reviews for suspensions. I doubt they'd rely purely on eyewitness and/or accounts by refs. Also, scouts and coaches most likely have a set-up for their purposes.

That really sucks about Harding, I was hoping this would be the year he could show everyone what he's got. Hope he's okay.

I hope Joonas is in tonight! In fact, I've really been enjoying the pre-season games since I never get to watch the Phantoms.

Heres something from DNFlyers

Quote:
Last night's notable scratches included Mike Richards, Jeff Carter, Blair Betts, Scott Hartnell, Ian Laperriere, Ville Leino, James van Riemsdyk, Sean O'Donnell, Chris Pronger, Kimmo Timonen and Matt Walker . . . This same group of Flyers traveled to Minnesota for tonight's preseason matchup with the Minnesota Wild . . . Van Riemsdyk, O'Donnell, Hartnell and Laperriere will play tonight.

Did they ever fix the streaming issue? I remember watching a black screen for 15 minutes before giving up.

Glad to see you are getting a more active forum! I remember last season you giving out cookies.
It's a combo of long-time lurkers, the few Wild fans from before March and a steady stream of former Wild.com posters.

I guess, but a lot of it just has to do with there being a lot of interesting and good discussion.

It used to when I was a kid, and I always liked #5 and #12. Especially #12

I don't know if you're familiar with our goalie situation, but that will likely not be an issue.

I kid. I totally support Leighton, Boosh, and Bob and hope they rock out this year.
