How is the battle on the blueline shaping up? Is Sbisa now considered a lock? IMO the only locks should be Visnovsky, Lydman, Sutton and Brookbank, not to say that they are the top four but everyone else is young and shouldn't be handed anything. Can anyone tell me how the following d-men looked and maybe even rank them by most likely to stick with the big club?

Two of the forwards will be sent down if the Ducks want to play with 14 forwards. Macenauer is a prime candidate to be sent down, since he is on a two way contract, is not subject to waivers and could use the greater ice time that he would see in Syracuse. Of course, if the staff thinks that he can replace Bodie, Carter or Chipchurra they may keep him here. Green is almost certainly going down, to lend a vet presence to Syracuse.

I don't know about Green going down. I read somewhere that the Crunch weren't too concerned with Jaffray's injury because word was they eyed him for Anaheim. Obviously those two are two very different types of players, but with Jaffray out for the year and Veilleux released, I'd say Green's chances of sticking are pretty good. Even better if they abandon the Ryan at center experiment and go with just two scoring lines in the interim.
Also, I can't quite remember, how early was Calder released from his tryout? Did that one go the distance, or was it around this time? If the latter, I suppose there's a decent chance we'll see Veilleux back at one point.
That's interesting. For some reason Macenauer and Deschamps are a little interchangeable in my mind. I get the feeling they will both be wings, even though they are billed as centers. I think both will be checkers if they stick in the NHL.
I'm wondering who will be cut. I'll make a crazy guess and say it's Chipchura and Bodie. If Veilleux is signed, it will be signed then. But probably not.

Wasn't he released? Or did I read a false report or just still waking up
He was released. Doesn't mean they won't sign him, a la Calder. I believe they couldn't if they wanted to now because of the 50 contracts.
Ok gotcha. Forgot what happened with the Calder situation. I wouldn't mind if he got signed if someone like Carter was gone. I liked Carter but if hes going to be scratched just let him go already
How is Sexton sitting, where does he fit in to this years team?
Tough to say. He definitely wants to be up and has become well liked among the fans and players. Beleskey has more skill than him and slots easily onto the top line with Getzlaf and Perry. Sexton will probably be on the third line if he stays with the team.
