I just know Homer will keep Guerin. It's like he's obligated to keep him because it's a "classy" move, just like when he put Randy Jones on re-entry waivers because he was "an NHL player."

Am I sensing that Rinaldo is going to turn into another Downie/Upshall obsession for this forum?

I sure hope not.
You mean are the flyers going to piss away another quality and affordable forward for next to nothing.

Leino to MODO for Tollefson sounds about right.

Walker lost those fights pretty badly. I PROMISE Tollefson wouldn't. We need that physical presence on the blueline right?

Then again, some of the unwarranted obsessions on this board are as bad as Wolfy's unrequited man-crush.

Downie and Upshall had skill at least. If Rinaldo is anyone it will be Carcillo

ok, maybe it is. but I would take Carcillo over Rinaldo. And I am not exactly Carcillo's biggest fan.

I like the list of guys staying up a bit longer. Not that they really have a shot at making the team, but I can always hope that they will over stupid Guerin.

In my mind, he should be for a top 9 role.

Change it as you see fit then if you really have that big of an issue with it.

We know we'll end up with Guerin at this point pretty much.

Also GKJ, that's based on performance so far in the preseason, and yes, Nodl has been better than Guerin, Powe, and Carcillo.

Then it's not a current depth chart. You're listing players. All of which we already knew anyways.

Nodl never going to be in the Top 9, barring injuries, until he start providing offense. That's not really an opinion either.

So who do you want to play in the top 9? Guerin?

.
so you are fine with a guy with zero offense being in the top 9?

Nodl is a 4th line checking forward right now. thats all he deserves

Agreed. He has no offense. He can not play on a scoring line.

It doesn't matter who I want when we're talking about the team's depth chart. You also forgot Shelley.

To answer the question, not Nodl. Holmgren wants their 3rd line to provide offense. Guerin despite his flaws, will still provide more offense than Nodl. And should Guerin not even be here (which he will), then Carcillo will still provide more offense.

Someone with more than one goal in the last two years, playing in the NHL.
