At this point I don't even know what to do with him, not really looking forward to the Boosh show.

Obviously the emphasis is only 1 game, but last night we played a half-AHL, half-NHL team against the Wild's NHL team and I thought Bob looked really solid.

Just hope he isn't a headcase, but the guy looks like he has the tools.

If he continues performing like this I'm not sure how you don't start him to start the season, especially if leighton misses some time

Thats how I see it. I know alot of people dont want it, but you can tell management is giving him the chances to succeed. This is the same team that started Sbisa at 18 yrs old when nobody thought he would start, and JVR who we all thought for sure was gonna play a season in the minors. They are an organization which shows that if a player deserves a spot they will give it to them

One thing to keep in the back of our minds is that Bobrovsky plays a very physicality demanding style. He's energetic and always on high alert.

We need to make sure we don't wear him out. If things go as planned, it's going to be a long season.

So regardless of what happens, Leighton or Boucher will get their starts and should.

Do you see Reese tweaking his technique a little?

This kid has never even had a goalie coach.. Pure talent. If he gets more technical he will be a beast.

I was talking with Euroflyers about that earlier today.

Reese needs to be careful with "tweaking" a little too much. You don't want this kid starting to second guess himself in net, nor do you want to overwhelm him.

Tweaking is good with technique is good if it is just tweaking.

Stories from behind Flyers bench...

A Wild fan about 4 rows back yelled at Hartnell "Hartnell, why don't you teach Carcillo how to hit" after Carbomb missed a few hits on an early shift. Harts looked back at the guy and kind of gave a little smile. Later, at end of period Hartnell walked by on his way to the dressing room and flipped the guy a Flyers puck. The guy said Hartnell was awesome last year as well (this from a fat guy in Wild jersey).

Same fan yelling at Carbomb "take some hitting lessons, maybe Hartnell can teach you, etc." Carbomb looks back at the guy and says "shut the ******* up. I'll cut that f***in' beard off your face with my stick." LOL. Then the fan starts heckling him about needing anger management classes... needing thicker skin, etc. Next period Carbomb gets ejected and Lavi turns bright red seething with rage. Sorry I didn't get a pick of him raging!

I've NEVER had seats like that before. It was awesome. Not the best view of the game when action was in the other end, but well worth it to see the team up close, lots of chatter and banter, etc.

Wild fans were so polite. As we walked up to get a beer after 2nd period a Wild fan on the isle looks at me and shakes his head and says "all I can do is give you a look of disdain"... LOL. We were laughing that wearing the enemy jersey in Philly would get you a h*ll of a lot more than a look!

We also talked to a fan with a Kalinski jersey - super nice guy. He got to know John when he was in college in Minnesota and he says John has sent him 5 or 6 jerseys. He also went to a game in Philly and had dinner with Kalinsky, Giroux, Nodl and Clackson last season. He said all nice kids.

Nicely done... by the way, I could hear Lavi calling for lines and I am pretty sure he was calling Zherdev "Z".
