Is it just me or does it seem like a coincidence that he wants to come back when are top players contract's are expired. Maybe he has a problem with them? I dunno.

Gomez - 4 years left
Gionta - 4 years left
Cammalleri - 4 years left
Plekanec - 5 years left

Kind of funny he speculated the amount of years rather than just mentioning he would possibly come back in the future.

As it says in the article he was just answering a question. I highly doubt he would have said never in a million years. I don't think this means anything.

Hell, I'll do it. Let him become the player he was supposed to be, then take him in his prime.

I really don't see why not if he becomes the player it was thought he could be.

I'd say the 4-5 years has more to do with speculating JM won't be around then as opposed to him having a problem with someone in the dressing room.

4-5 years is when he hits UFA, it has nothing to do with avoiding someone in the room. He's basically not burning his bridges.

He never asked to be traded lol but I mean the way he played he might as well have. When your coach tells you to park your ass in front of the net you do it or gtfo.

Gui might be open to coming back, not sure if the Habs would want him back?

Why would the Habs want him back after the crap he said in the media?? I don't want him back in a Habs jersey even again, I know that. If he would have played the kind of game that got him a spot with the Habs in his first season, then sure, I'd keep him around, but he stopped hitting and playing tough, hard-hitting hockey after he thought he had a spot on the team and turned into a baby.

I'm glad he's gone if he doesn't plan on playing hard-nosed hockey.

True it's the same principle of irrational hate. Seems like every fan has some player who they scapegoat.

He should be a better hockey player then and probably a much more mature person so why not? Still it probably won't happen.
