OT: Montreal Forum membership statistics - Language

Speak French at home with parents, but grew up in US & Europe and live in Dallas now, so my English is probably actually better than my French now.

I don't really consider myself either, I'm pretty much a mix. Dad grew up speaking in an English speaking household in Chicoutimi(go figure), mom is very francophone, I was taught both languages as a kid.

Edit: surprised to see so many francophones on this board, I would have thought the majority would be english.

Ooooooh, damn you. I haven't had some good chouriço since my grandmother-in-law sent some from Spain. Fried it in oil and I was literally drooling as I ate it.

@ LyricalLyricist : My son is 4, daughter is 3 and my second son will be born near the end of January. The problem I have is that he'll be starting school next year and he can't communicate with kids his age yet. So if we send him to school and he still can't talk properly, it's going to be a disaster.
