Perhaps he keeps the door open so that he could someday again be near his girlfriend. Don't think she will ever want to move in the US unless her career falls into pieces. How convenient would it be for him to make a come back once he gained experience somewhere else...

I wouldn't mind him back if his skating improves and he heads to the net on a regular basis for the money. That's the kind of player we need.

I think we can find better options for 14-16 goals a year with very little else to offer.

Nice to hear that he wasn't so jaded as to burn his bridges with the organization.

As a french Canadian, it's no shock at all that he'd want to play in Quebec, and I'd gladly welcome him back down the road if he continues to build on what he did last year...

very talented player who obviously needed a bit of a "wake-up" call to focus the way he needs to in order to play at his best. What he does with the confidence he gained last year will determine what kind of career he has... is he satisfied with what he did, or is he hungry to be even better?

I guess I was one of the few that liked Gui... I'd take him back once he's UFA...

He makes a lot of good points, it's hard for a young player to develop in that fishbowl, especially Quebecers.

Perfect timing. Our government will have banned fast/junk food from all ice rinks by then.

thats why the ahl is such a double edged sword. you can keep a guy in the ahl until he's 100% for the nhl but that doesn't mean he is 100% ready for the montreal canadiens.

Like I said in the other thread guy literaly won't shut up. Maybe it's because he wants Lafleur to adopt him.

Damn good point. That's why I'd rather the Montreal Junior would play at the Bell Centre so that Leblanc get used to the place.

I loled man, i pictured the whole thing.

I dont see why we wouldnt have him back, but he has to seriously mature. If he grows up a little bit, he is more than welcomed back. This comes from one of his biggest haters.

lol, after opening his mouth and bashing the team several times...

It's over Lats, the Habs will never bring you back because you opened your stupid mouth too many times. Let's get real, the Habs value their image a hell of a lot, not to mention they are an extremely proud team, no way are they bringing back Lats after he's attacked the team and the administration. lol I would be willing to come back..gtfo!
