Lapierre wont center a line after his playoff run.

White is awesome, nice step to get some truculence. Let's hope Shultz and Conboy will take the same route.

Hey, I'm the Ryan White fanclub leader. You can stay as the leader of the Desharnais fanclub.

In fact, I was hoping that he would have stayed with the team last year so I can say I'm a long time supporter.

Same, couldnt beleive he was sent down and they kept pyatt up (i mean i ALSO wanted pyatt to stay up but), i was disapointed to see white never come back up and they left sergei on the team, made no sense, i would watch white after victories, that geniuine smile on his face, u knew he loved being a hab

he led our team in hits for the short period he was called up.

Yeah he had a crazy hitting pace lol !

47 hits in 16 games played so about 241 hits on a 82 games season !

Another great game by White.
I don't remember him dropping the gloves as much before.
We should keep him with the Habs for a while and see how he does.

AK - Gomez - Gionta
Pouliot - Plekanec - Cammalleri
Eller - Halpern - Lapierre
White - Boyd - Moen

Subs : Darche, Pyatt, 7th Defenseman

I can't believe how many ****ing times this needs to be stated.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A ONE WAY AND A TWO WAY CONTRACT IS THAT YOU DON'T MAKE THE SAME MONEY IN THE TWO DIFFERENT LEAGUES.

honestly tho

I dont think 1 way means u CANt be sent down to the ahl, i think it just means your salary is inaffected if you do,
I think the habs wouldnt mind sending darche down at 500k if it meant keeping a player like white up, but i mean, i just dont know.

If I had a dime for every time that **** has come up in the last 4 or 5 years I would be the richest person on this board.

And it even pisses me off more when people bash a GM for ignorant reasons.

Hey Bob, how many 1-way contract players actually do get send down? It's bad management to give 1-way contracts to players who don't make the team, that's why most of the time the coach has his hands tied behind his backs.

It happens all the time. You have to understand that Pyatt and Darche would have had to clear waivers regardless of what kind of contract they sign. It makes no difference whatsoever except costs the team a bit of money if they are sent down.

All the time? I remember Mogilny and Nylander, mostly big contract chockers, who else?

There are literally dozens throughout the league every year.
