Looks like it's time for the fantasy hockey thread again...

There are 7 guys with NHL contracts:
Hejda
Commodore
Russell
Klesla
Methot
Stralman
Tyutin

Moore, while being decent, has not "earned" a spot at this point. He'll probably be an injury call-up.

We have no idea.

Any more fantasy questions we can help you with?

Could, but won't. His offensive upside is ok, he tends to sneak into space without being noticed.

His defensive skill needs some polishing, but then again who on our D doesn't need it

Points...I would say when he finally starts playing regularly in the NHL, he should be worth 35 points per year....maybe up to 45 on a GREAT year.

Brutal. He has more offensive upside then Tyutin and he's far more mobile then Stralman. He'll end up being a better puck mover as well.

Depending on how we use him and how he develops he certainly has more potential then being a 35 point guy.

I agree with you on all counts, but I don't see much more out of him than that. Yea he can move the puck but the shots he has put on net haven't impressed me one bit.

35 - 45 pts per year, at most from him

Stralman doesn't have a great shot and it didn't make any difference in his assist on Filatov's goal last night. Moore can do the first thing needed, which is get the shot through, and his wrister is certainly better then what we normally see out of Russ.

All I was saying is that his potential is certainly higher then 35 points on an average year. We are way too early in his development to say 45 points is max. As I said how we play him is going to play a huge role in his peak. If he ends up as a PP specialist, then yes, you are probably right on.

What part of "It's too early to determine his ceiling" are you having a tough time with? But you are correct, Moore is not a forward playing defense like Greene. Not that that is required to score 50 points in the NHL for a D.

If he end up being able to play well in all three zones, I don't think 55 points is out of the question.

I certainly think his ceiling is well above anyone we have on the team now.
