Great minds think a like!

Simmonds is friggin hilarious. He just grabbed Bobby Ryan and gave him the business when he was in his frenzy. What a great pic this is..

Doughty has never been in a scrap to the best of my knowledge. If he fought Ryan he'd get worked, sorry.

After watching that game, I think Parse might have lost his "spot" on the second line. But not to Schenn/Loki, to Richardson. Him and Williams work so well together, they both are very good/quick skaters that are decent passers and finishers. Even with Schenn playing a very safe game last nite that line was maintaining pressure and skating around the ducks.

If that ends up happening, I think it might give Lewis a good chance to make the team. As it stands now, I really see no place for Clifford, and I was thinking to my self in the middle of the game last nite that he wasn't playing that noticeable, then literally 8 secs later he and Simmonds played that great neutral zone rush to goal. Schenn/Loki while I think both are capable of playing top9 mins right now in the NHL, there just seems to be no spot for them. That leaves Lewis as kind of a wild card here. He is at the point where there isn't that much growth that can be obtained from the minors (similar to a Schenn and juniors situation) so I think its not unthinkable to have play 4th line center/13th forward imo.

Finally to all the people lovin on Muzzin, you crack me up. Two days ago people were questioning why Muzzin was here, commenting on how much better Fransson had looked in all the games and practices people here had seen. Now its Muzzin was the best of bottom 3 options......Bottom-line, just like before you can't make a judgment on a player off one game or a few practices that you were able to see.

This line will be pain in the ass to play against.
Loktionov deserves a top 6 spot and
Stoll and Parse made them self trade bait.

If Murray is still playing Stoll over Loktionov and Richardson, he deserves to be shot.

Smyth - Kopitar - Brown
Richardson - Loktionov - Williams
Clifford - Handzus - Simmonds
Pony - Schenn/Stoll/ Westgarth

would be the only solution what makes sense.
But i know Murray finds a way to squeeze the Zeiler, Clune clowns in again

Surprisingly, Drew has developed into somewhat of an agitator. He sure was getting under the skin of Canucks' players during the the playoffs, and now he's got Ryan all worked up over him.

I don't know about that. Bobby Ryan is a big kid but he isn't exactly tough. I think it'd be a fair fight. Plus Simmonds was manhandling Ryan during that whole escapade and he probably has 20+ lbs on Simmonds.

Let Simmonds fight Ryan. I fondly recall him tooling Getzlaf last season.
