Anybody know what's up with O'Dell?

So I was looking at our prospect depth the other day and saw O'Dell's name and suddenly remembered we haven't seen him all summer. I know Dudley said something earlier in the summer about a health issue (iirc it was heart related) but have heard nothing since.

Anybody have any more info? Seems like it could be a serious issue if he's been out all summer. It would be a shame as he is one of the few prospects we have who projects to be a top 6 player.

I remember reading it was a minor heart issue that has been addressed, but he's not being rushed.

ERIC O'DELL ON THE COMEBACK TRAIL

Sudbury star forward Eric O'Dell had surgery this summer to fix a hole in his heart that was discovered at the Atlanta Thrashers rookie camp. The Wolves leading scorer from last season is back in Sudbury and will suit up for Sudbury within a couple of months.

"I had a hole in my heart and doctors fixed it and I am all good now," O'Dell said. "I can work out and I can skate, but I have to avoid physical contact because I am on blood thinners. I'll be back in December to play. I will be 100% ready to go and I can't wait to help the team."

Thanks for the info, hole in the heart sounds serious, but the dr's seem happy it's sorted, hopefully he'll be back playing soon.
