well i mean...Chris Neil is a potential fighter as well but i really doubt he'd fight Boogaard. Prust, definitely, but having Boogey there will definitely tame himself and Jarkko Ruutu.

this is as close to a regular season as it gets. i'm beyond excited to see this in person tonight. LGR!!

Gaborik/Frolov are Elite/Great players respectively.

Regardless, your only point of change is the top line from a B+ to a B? That's like nothing.
Pointless argument...but frolov is not elite

Starting to think Stepan goes down guys. If Prospal C the first line it opens up Frolov, Dubinsky, Avery and then a Kennedy/ Boogaard rotation on LW

They just have too many bodies. Drury can C the 3rd line with Avery and Fedotenko then Dubinsky, Anisimov, Callahan and the 4th line has the Boogaard/Kenendy mix with Boyle/Christiensen and Prust.

It just makes more sense

Also lets hope White and Eminger suck the next two games so they are sent down and off the cap

Karlsson fought Chuck Norris apparently, Boogaard shouldn't be a problem for him.

I don't get all the rozy hate. He is not the greatest, but he is an essential part of our D at the moment.

Michal Rozsival would be a top 6 defenseman on every NHL team. he is not a problem for us.

He has his ups and downs but he's still a top 6 dman any team, the only thing is that he's overpaid and people can't get over that.

I won't be surprised if Ruslan Fedetenko makes the Rangers, but I suppose there are lots of moving parts on NYR roster right now. We'll see.

Also said may be tough to fit Stepan / McD with entry level cap hit

And he doesn't stick up for teammates and doesn't shoot the puck enough. Other than that he isn't that bad, they r worse dman in the nhl

White and Eminger will probably go somehow...

Not if they send White down

edit: honestly, the Rangers could do a lot of different things, but I'll be really disappointed no matter what if White is still on this team come opening night. He's just too expensive for what he's showing us out there

I'm wondering why Sauer and Valentenko aren't in the lineup, tonight? God I hope they both make the team so bad.

Probably because they played last game and the coaches need to see more of McDonagh and Eminger

great and elite are the same thing in my mind.......i thought he was saying elite/great as in same concept......

either way....frolov is a good, complimentary player not great or elite....good

if he was great he would have had no trouble being signed this offseason

Crosby, Zajac(maybe not a #1 but better option than what we have), Tavares, Richards etc.

I don't get why Eminger is here?! No, seriously, it's ridiculous. He needs to go, and he needs to go now. He's not making the team, so right now he's a wasted roster spot getting time that a kid should be having.
