Jeez, they've already gone through 27 captains? We're still on our first! Talk about team instability.

And if Mikko is anything like Saku and we know he is, he will be our captain for some time

Another example of American know-how taking over the home of French Canada.

It's necessary.

In other news, I don't know what Kovalev was thinking:

Any news on if Schroeder has a chance of making Canucks starting lineup? Leddy? I hear he has a decent chance.

What a piss-poor trade that has turned out to be. Who do you think will have a better NHL season- Leddy or Barker? Jeepers f##### s$$$.

No surprise for me, but Souray and Gerber cleared waivers today.

I don't know why, but I got super annoyed yesterday where all of the pundits were basically saying the Minnesota should pick him up.

My first thought was "Gerber on waivers, Wild need a goalie" and then I remembered Marty Gerber.

Yeah, I think what annoyed me is that I would rather give Jose "Weak Glove Side" Theodore Harding's money rather than pick up Gerber...

When Endras shows up both goalies in Finland, they'll just bring him back with them...

But in all serious, I sort of hope they give Khudobin a bit of an extended chance at the position. I'd rather see what that guy could do knowing this might be his only chance with this club than bringing in some never has been. I mean, there's a reason as to why these goaltenders don't have jobs right now. They're just not that good. And with the way this defense has looked all camp, I'm not so sure a goaltender is going to make much of a difference.

If that happens, I'll be a happy person - Theodore for Harding's money is a ****ing steal.
