Thats misguided. Drury, while overpaid is very valuable. Prospal is not the best, but very serviceable and cheap.

This Prospal injury is more serious than the Rangers are letting on I think. I am not sure how much he is going to play this year.

Considering his age and the type of game he plays I wouldn't be shocked one bit if this turns out being the end of his career.

We are paying Prospal 1$ million a year and he put up 20 goals and 30 assists last year. He can stay on this team as long as he likes at that price/production.

Vinny prospal was a nightmare after that knee injury if we're really relying on him for secondary scoring we're screwed. This guy should not have been re-signed. Duby aa cally frolov stepan avery and Feds should be the guys we're looking for to score goals for us behind gabby. Not a 36 year old with a knee problem thats almost a year old now.

And drury is about as serviceable as Blair betts. I want stepan on my third line. That means drury is once again our fourth line center.

If it were up to me they'd both be gone.

News Flash...that Prospal you speak of scored more points than Dubi, AA, Avery, Feds, and Cally last season. Just sayin'.

That was LAST YEAR I'm talking 2010 2011 boys. Alot changes in a year. Stepan didn't score any goals for the new York rangers last year does that mean he won't this year?

Fact is prospal slowed badly after the injury and sure enough he hasn't healed. What do u think hes going to look like this year at 36 with a bum knee? We just going to let it ride because he had an ok year last year? This isn't a cup MVP we're giving a sympathy pass too. Its just a fill in forward that should NEVER have been brought back.

He had 11 points in 20 games on the second line after an injury. What a NIGHTMARE!!!!

Wow thats rough...drury makes me wince on the pp but i believe he has shown dubi and cally to play with max effort, that being said i cant disagree with you totally on him. Prospal played really well for us at times and was one of the few contributors when gabby went out. Hes a good find for a gm whos resume is filled with the over paid and the painful to watch.But the injuries are conveniently timed, no?

Prospal and drury are not the answer. We need our kids to step up. These guys will be more of a nuisance than important parts of the team this year book it.
