before i go any farther i just wanted to make sure i will be able to watch EVERY Flyers game they play with the exception to when they come to Vancouver in Dec.(cuz ill be going to it live)
Yes, I got gamecenter recently. you will be able to watch every single Flyers game except for when it's nationally or locally televised (i.e., VS., NHLnetwork)
Every game is in HD and you can watch up to 4 games at once.
I was also thinking about getting this. Would it be better to go with hockeystreams?
Have it and have watched a few preseason games so far. Best things about it.. stream is consistent quality and doesnt skip, you can pick which teams feed you want to listen to, they have something called the vault which is an archive of games (everything from the BSB vs red army to the entire playoffs last year), and i just run an hdmi cable to the tv which costs me like 4 dollars

just go on amazon or newegg and you will find them for ~2.50. I just bought 3 of them (cheap so just in case) although I know many people who have bought these and they are working. And if you have a mac, the mini displayport to hdmi converter is $4.
I was giving some thought to doing this instead of the NHL Center ice TV package, just in case I am travling for work so I could just watch online in the hotels. How is the picture? Is It actually HD if I hook it up to my TV?
I'm also afraid that the hotel's internet connection is going to be too slow to run a streaming video well.
I never went for it due to the complaints that it recieved over the last 5 years. It's been horrendous
Yeah, I've had bad experiences with it too, personally. Was living in Vancouver last year so didn't have it, obviously.
I am informed that it was much improved for the last season, but I'm still not sure I trust it enough to even invest the reasonable price they charge.
Two seasons ago, I probably spent more time on illegal feeds while complaining to their customer service than I did actually using the product I paid for.
I won't try to dissuade anyone because going legal is a good idea, and I've heard that improvements have been made, but ESPN360 was unreliable in live stream and archive, and even breached the terms of service at the sale without notice or option to refund.
Season pass is available up until a few weeks after the season, get reviews from the forums before you buy, and picking up an overpriced day pass as a test might be prudent.
Do any of these services have games on demand immediately? I'm looking for a way to not have to get Center Ice with my roommate (Pens fan who works nights - needs to DVR games).
Did you have espn360 in Europe? I wasn't aware that gamecenter(re) was available outside NA.
I had it in espn 360 in Switzerland and I could not sign up for gamecenter there, now I live near Monaco and I could sign up for either. I am hoping gamecenter is faster uploading the archived games. Getting up at 1am is a bit exhausting. I would prefer to be able to watch a slight delay at 6am. Espn 360 took 24 hour or so.
