I guess that means it would have to be Sauer as the 6, since he would have to pass waivers to go down..
I think if Valentenko stays he's the 6th Dman. Lets see if he plays with McDonaugh 2nite. Sauer has to clear so he can be the 7th

Eminger just stinks. I don't see why he should stay on the roster if he stinks. He would only play the odd game and if an actual serious injury occurs he will just be replaced by a call up and stay the 7th

In the end I think its going to be McD, Gilroy, Sauer and the 5-7

A shame that none of the ECHL/AHL tough guys are trying it on with Boogaard this preseason...

No games against the Islanders and Flyers this pre-season. They really haven't seen any of those types of guys.

Who would have thought we would see Boogaard score a goal before he gets into his first fight?

LOL, nobody.

It was a 'helluva pass by Prust as well... no-look between the legs. Just hilarious.

ah yes I know Carkner, missed him when I glanced at the lineup.

Orr is willing to go with anyone. I remember when he fought Mitch Fritz who is about Boogard's size.

Yeah. But Fritz is not on the same level as Boogaard.

Watching San Jose Sharks playing the Adler Mannheim in Germany right now on Eurosport... Great game... 14,000 German fans booing every TV timeout mercilessly.. those TV timeouts would never fly on a regular basis in Europe... Lets go Mannheim!

It was an incredibly painful and difficult decision, but I will be missing this game for the CU- Georgia football bloodbath. I have an obligation.

I hope not (as an Ottawa fan), he is a promising rookie the last thing Ottawa needs is for him to be knocked the **** out.

I was yelling at my TV last night for Winchester to turtle

They'll be up soon enough... as much as I love McD and VTank, I see them going to Hartford
I disagree. McD should, and likely will be on the team IMO. He has done nothing to hurt his stock. He's been sound on D, not scared to shoot like some other D men NYR employs :::cough, Rozy:::, and he's shown himself to be more than strong enough to handle the game at this level.

Again, just my two cents, but thats how I see it.

This game could get ugly. I know we've said it before and been proved wrong but NYR is sitting a LOT of talent tonight and Ottawa isn't holding much back at all.

Maybe it's because they're resting Lundqvist, Gaborik, Staal, Callahan, Avery, and Frolov?

I'm aware of that. I'm talking about the team with them included. Going to be turbulent at times

I'll be in the building tonight. Since I've seen most of those guys (except Frolov) It's going to be nice to see the kids play.

Hopefully Stepan shines enough to remove all (albeit small) doubts in my mind that he is making the team.

I don't think either will show it on a regular basis, I believe Sky Germany has exclusive rights... sorry bud Its like punishment looking at DEL Hockey... I mean, Austrian EBHL league is even worse, but at least I'm good buddies with quite a few players, so I root for my friends to do well and win...
