I'm really liking the lineup tonight. The result of the game, win or loss, is meaningless. But the coaches have some decisions to make and letting these guys fend for themselves, without the likes of a Frolov or Gaborik, is a smart way to see which players can stand on their own. Smart decision IMO.
It is a good idea to see what these guys can do against a legit team- doesn't mean i would've been happy to see it iced at the Garden yesterday after paying for tickets .
I hope Zucc plays well and solidifies himself a #1 spot for call-ups at some point in the season.
Christ on the wing? Okay. Honestly, this guys is the shootout specialist that Kotaweak never was, only no one tried to trick us in to believing he also had any sort of PP QB value and signed him to a NMC. Unfortunately I don't think we can justify his tenure with the NYR on his uncanny shootout prowess alone. I don't know if management is trying to throw him a bone for stepping it up at times when the rest of the team was awful last year, but for as much as I like him, I just can't see him finding a role with NYR beyond this season, if that long.
It's been a pretty good pre-season and there is enough to be optimistic about, win or lose this one.

Win or lose tonight, what I love most about this preseason, is the emergence of our future #1 bonafide centerman. Stepan has shown he has made the right decision to leave college (sophmore) and to pursue his dream. And to the delight of us Rangers fans, it's about time.
This lineup we're putting out is going to get lit up tonight. Should be interesting how the young guys play, though. Looks to be Todd White's last chance to impress.
Just a few minutes away form what could be a solid beating... Hopefully the kids play well and Biron finds some consistency. Leclaire has been pretty atrocious I think he has like a 4.14 GAA and .850 SV % this pre season maybe they can take advantage of that.
