I live pretty close to there, so it would be a good place for me.

If I would attend, it would have to be a game before January, or else I won`t be able to make it. Seeing as how my second son will be born then, I think I would be locked out for the rest of the night by my wife, if I left her at home alone with two toddlers and a newborn.

Tell her you're going to the store to buy bread then make up some crazy story on why it took you 3 hours. Works every time

Champs get crowded and there isn't much space. Otherwise I like it... I mean, portuguese owners! (Or part owners, whatever)

My kids would probably love that, but I doubt they let little children in there. If they did, I'd probably consider bringing my wife too, but she'd be close to popping so it would be a maybe.

Just one flower? I'd have to buy her a whole flower shop. And yes, I'm a seven letter word that begins and ends with a star.

That sounds really good right about now. I'm tempted to jump in my car and go find a place that will serve this.

Lol, damn I wish I was in Montreal.

Sucks here in Toronto. There is no atmosphere after a habs game.

I know what you mean, I'm north west of Toronto, near farm country. I could run outside and tip a few cows in celebration. It just doesn't feel quite the same as celebrating a win in Montreal.

There's no atmosphere during a Leafs game either.

At least you get to milk some cows, I get nothing. Absolutely nothing.

It doesn't help that I moved back to Toronto after 5 years in London. I know nothing about this city anymore. lol.

There would be if they win.

Which they never do. Which is probably your point.

True, but at least in T.O., the city doesn't shut down at 6pm on a Saturday night.

I'm actually not too far from London, I'm about 30 minutes away close to Guelph.

Unless you meant London, England. In that case, I'm no where near there.

I wish I was in London England. British chicks with the accent are HAWT!!!!

But no, London Ontario. (Unfortunately). At least the Knights games were cool. Especially when Tavares played there.

Must have been fun for you to go there this summer, watching Portugal do...nothing...and nothing more during the World Cup.

Portugalia has the best chicken I've ever tasted in Mtl. Hands down, no contest.
I've tried many portuguese restaurants, this by far is the best.

It used to be just a pick up place, but I know they expended into a little restaurant/dining area. Not sure they're showing games though.

On Rachel/Clark.

Place looks ghetto but it's always packed. Obviously not ideal for a M&G, but just letting you know. Hit that spot when you want some Portuguese food, you won't regret it.

Lol, I was working anyway. No way I'd go to Champs at 7 or 10 in the morning to see Portugal fail as usual.

Damn, I used to go at Saturday school in the Portuguese Center right across the street. The smell of grilled chicken was teasing us for hours

I'll def. check it out.

That's not far from Romados ... which is a bakery / rotisserie place ... it's nothing fancy either... If you haven't already, def. check it out... hugely popular.

There was a sweet old lady that use to work there and would hook me up all the time with extra chicken; I would flirt with her and make her feel younger and she would give me more chicken... It felt wrong yet so right...I'd prbly give her kids if she was still reproductive. I miss her. Srry, that was a bit OT.
