Even if he doesn't improve from the last year, he's still a damn good 4th liner with the ability to jump to the top 9 in the case of injuries.

And for those saying "if he doesn't improve - he has hit his ceiling", see: Braydon Coburn. Really picking up his game after two years of slumbering, Danny's still rather young aswell.

He's RFA after this season, I'd give him the 10% raise on a one or two year contract.

Something interesting I found in the arcticle from the Gormley article posted by MSE.
(written Oct. 1)
Quote:
With right wing Ian Laperriere sidelined indefinitely with post-concussion symptoms, Darroll Powe appears to be a lock to make the team as a defensive specialist and penalty killer. Coach Peter Laviolette said he'd also like to introduce James van Riemsdyk to some penalty-killing duties.

Not entirely; all he did was stir up trouble in the Toronto game; he still needs to learn when to keep his emotions in check; his trap shut and just play the game.

Buffalo's roster for tonight (though Montador is listed twice)

Buffalo's roster has been corrected, and the sixth defenseman is Myers.

Has anyone from outside the market area tried setting up a proxy located in Philadelphia?

RT @DNFlyers: Stefan Legein, Pat Maroon, and Dan Jancevski all getting a shot to play tonight.

RT @DNFlyers: Bill Guerin, Jody Sheley, Oskars Bartulis, Blair Betts, Dan Carcillo are the only players with real NHL experience playing.

RT @DNFlyers: Johan Backlund will be starting but he seemed to exit warmups really quickly.

RT @DNFlyers: Yes, those 3 guys were recalled... because the Phantoms were playing in Syracuse tonight, I think, and it was an easy bus rise. Seems silly.

Sounds like a skeleton crew.

The latest tweet:

Meszaros, Matt Walker, Darroll Powe and Andreas Nodl were also in the lineup. May be missing a couple other vets, too.
Also playing: Bill Guerin, Jody Shelley, Oskars Bartulis, Blair Betts, Dan Carcillo.

It'll be a good test for the defensemen.

Buffalo fan here.
If anyone has a proxy that works or would be kind enough to stream the game somewhere, I'm sure a lot of us would appreciate it.

I mean, we're the home team and we can't even watch our own game.
That's not surprise though, we've been able to legally watch a whopping 1 of our 6 pre-season games (the rest were blacked out).

It could be a limited viewing area. Otherwise, some are relegated to a radio feed:
