Did I read the box score right. Nisky an early candidate for the norris?

Nisky and Lehtonen both showing something

Strange, Lehtonen is performing well behind a less-than-stellar defense. I thought Turco proved this to be impossible.

I think Marty was too worried about playing as a third damn out there to remember his true duties. Maybe he felt guilty taking home 3/4 the paycheque of the d combined?

to be fair Lehtonen has spent his entire career playing behind a terrible defense. He's used to it.

Ribeiro's teammates voted him as captain last night.

Cancer is spreading.

Whoops, bad phrasing. There should be a "for" in there somewhere. Not after "voted".

Watched the "highlights" of this on the Blues site, which didn't include any of the Stars' goals and man, did Woywitka ever get pounded in that fight. I'm surprised he's not concussed. Also, Benn made a really weak turnover to set up the Blues' 2nd goal.

From Heika's blog. It's nice to hear on Ribeiro.

``It was nice,'' Ribeiro said. ``I think I have a different attitude and guys are seeing that. It's up to me to keep doing that, and stay positive and do the right things. ''

So since Barch had an "A" in preseason, does that mean the joke in the Ottoberfest ad during the preseason games will become reality? Does this mean that there will be a special promotion entitled "Barch Madness"?
