For any interested, Teus was kind enough to post this info in another thread, and I thought I would put it here:

"Sorry to bring this thread up again, but I just wanted to say that you can watch Söderberg play against Columbus today. According to http://bluejackets.nhl.com, the game between Malmö and Columbus will be broadcasted online there at 1 PM ET. Söderberg got #27 and of course the full face shield visor."

Not sure if I can access it from work, which is unfortunate because I have only seen video highlights of CS in the past. He is off to another good start in the SEL-2 with 8 pts (all assists) in 6 games. It's too bad this kid seems to have no desire to compete in the NHL, I think he could be an asset.

Soderberg was on rw for the first period I only saw a couple of shifts nothing exciting, watched most of the second and he didn't have any ice time not sure if he was hurt or benches at the end of two CBJ up 4-0 final 4-1 didn't see him in third or on bench

Probably violent nausea from the sight of NHL jerseys.

They rested him and a few other others after first period for the upcoming games this week (they are playing 3 top teams in 4 days in their league). About half of the Malmö forwards you saw in the last two periods were born 1992, so a lot of possible 2011 drafties.

Teus, thanks for the info. Since when did Soderberg start playing the off-wing, or was that just for this game?

Chudinov is having an exceptional season in the KHL, he may be ready sooner than later. He's a PP d-man, that b's don't really have.

8pts in 11 games now, +2 rating, almost 21 minutes a game avg. playing time.

Hopefully it's not just a flash in the pan. It's not like he's playing in a sub-par league either.

Is Tyler Seguin any relation to Brett Seguin (now retired) the Adam Oates of the Central Hockey League?

Goaltending a pretty sore spot in Providence's 5-1 loss at home

Dalton only stopped 12 of 16 in two periods before being pulled for the final frame and Hutchinson was 0 for 1 as Springfield scored on its only-- that's right-- they had just one-- shot of the third period.

Kirk MacDonald scored for the Peebs.

I didn't see the game, but sounds like Providence outplayed the Falcons-- they just couldn't put the puck in the net.

Tyler Randell has been playing great for the Kitchener Rangers. While he hasn't been racking up points, right now i would say there isnt a harder worker or better forchecker in the OHL.

Check out the highlights here from last night http://www.kitchenerrangers.com/ (at the bottom under Rangers Vision) and see what he did as he was on his back about to crash into the net to make sure the goal counted. that's thinking on your back.

Kid gets an A for effort from me every night !

The end to end rush by Murphy was good too !

Jared Knight had a goal and an assist in London's 5-4 win over Windsor tonight. On the year, Knight has four goals in six games.

Was just checking how the kids are doing:

Ryan Spooner: 3 G 3 A in 5 GP
Jared Knight: 4 G 2 A in 6 GP

Now my favorite prospect is Spooner. But im wondering what we're gonna do with him. I think he can play in the NHL next year. Personally I think he could have played this year. But with our log-jam at Center, do you guys think he can play wing? I dont want to see him traded, id trade Colborne before Spooner. He's exactly 2 years younger (they share the same birthday), and I think Spooner is more gifted offensively.

I would wait on evaluating spooner. I think he is an excellent prospect, he was awesome in both camps this year. The petes are struggling right now, they just got shut out in back to back games, so lets see how he does over the course of the season, and see if he can pick this team up. I'm not sure how the petes were suppose to be this season but I can't believe they were predicted to be this bad, 1 win in 7 games.

David Warsofsky has 5 points in his first 2 games for BU. I think this kid could be a real player.

I believe Chudinov is a +3.

A nice article on Warsofsky's weekend right here:
http://insidehockey.com/?p=9564

I realize it's common practice for a coach to pimp his own players, but do you think Parker is high on him?

Quote:
“We think he’s one of the premier defensemen in college hockey,” Parker said. “He’s a great offensive defenseman. He defends very well. He’s a good penalty killer. He’s a good power play guy. … We expect him to have a big year.”

Got tickets for BC/BU at Agganis in December. Tommy Cross and David Warsofsky. Should be a good one.

Cherepovets lost to Dinamo Minsk 4-3 in OT

No points for Chudinov, but he did play 23 minutes.
