I can understand that.

I just cant understand why it wasnt addressed a long time ago.

He can play both, but he mostly plays left. Also a left-handed shot. Don't expect Nashville to let him go, though.

Wouldn't be shocked if they signed Lilja.

boyle has size. that's something the rangers want more of. if boyle keeps playing the way he did this preseason, unlikely i know, but if he does he's more valuable than kennedy. based on preseason alone though, i think boyle's could have a good year if not his best yet.

Look, I'm not advocating Guerin. I just wouldn't be surprised.
Whatever happened to those guys? Were you in a coma when Malhotra and Lyashenko led us to the promise land?

I don't see how signing Guerin wouldn't similarly block the potential for MZA, Grachev, Weise, etc. from getting playing time. That said, the Rangers were very close to trading for Guerin two years ago at the deadline so I would not be surprised if they signed him; I pray they don't, but with Sather you never know.

im thinking drury gets boyle's spot when he returns. boyle will be the extra forward and spell boogie from time to time. we're def saving our pennies though

Tell me about it. Someone said what we saw in Kennedy? Enough to keep him around maybe? Scored 10 goals w/ 26 points in his rookie season. Compared to Anismov's 28 points. Nobody is saying he was amazing, but it's shocking he was waived.

However, they are 2 completely different players. Anisimov has seen great coaching along the way and has his fundamentals very strong.

Kennedy is going to be a victim of something bigger here...cap relief for something bigger.

So no, unless Sather is literally (and I mean actually literally) retarded, he won't trade for Souray

Morrison is pretty much done, it's just that no one will admit it. He's not really an upgrade over anyone on the Rangers
I want no part of Souray.

I know that part of your post wasn't directed at me, but I just wanted to be clear about where I stand on Souray.

If the Rangers felt those guys were ready, they would have made the team.

For Suter, I'd shuffle my D and make it work. He's an upgrade over most of our guys. You either include Gilroy/Sauer in the deal or waive the other and recall the side you need (assuming he plays the right).

I don't think the Preds are trading Suter so I'm not sure where this came from.

yeah no crap, he's a legit top pairing defenseman under contract for two more years. Nashville has no reason to trade him.

This is good for Stepan . Waiving Kennedy and White that is
Yep, Drury is closer than people think.

Plus, I have been a detractor of Ryan Parent since his draft. I saw a kid who was physically mature compared to his draft class, never thought much of him. Then again, I thought AJ Thelen showed 1st round potential

Good versatility, but did he really show us he was strong in one specific area? I didin't see it.

it means they are morons. Waiving them just to give them a chance to catch on elsewhere OR it just means they would get picked up at 12 noon so they are still part of the team in the morning regardless
