I still can't take the screaming in Temple. I need Excedrin after that movie.

I got to take a tour of Citizens Bank Park back in May for a STH event. Jayson Werth had some of that prominently displayed in the middle of his top locker shelf.

TSN is counting down who they figure will be the top 50 players in the NHL this year:

40. Carter
22. Richards
21. Pronger

I'd bet they put Sid first, but we'll see.

I really wouldn't have a problem with Crosby first. He plays a more important position than Ovechkin and is a more complete player.

It's pretty cool to see some of our guys there, and I think the distance between Richie and Carter is pretty interesting.

He is first, but what's wrong with that?

1. Crosby
2. Ovechkin
3. Toews
4. Malkin
5. Keith

That's their top 5.

Buccigross made a joke about it during Sportscenter today.

What do you think the odds are Toews and Richards are switched if the SC outcome was different?

I don't think they would have had Richards crack the top five.

Keith and Toews became primary spotlight targets for TSN after their Olympic performances; I assume that played into their top 5 ranks (even though it is a projected list for the NHL in 2010-11).

That was my thought as well.

I love Toews' game, but top 3? Not a chance. Top 10, maybe.

Keith, Top 15, maybe. But nowhere near #5.

Sid at #1 isn't a big surprise, but I would have gone with Ovechkin (they're projecting points and importance of the player this year)

Eh, Cup bias, both are ridiculously high though, at least 10 spots.

Watching Rogers Sportsnet and their season preview, thinking: man, these guys are pretty awful hockey guys...

then they show the Montreal depth chart, omit Mike Cammelleri, but proceed to talk about his goal scoring exploits anyway.

Well done. <slow clap>

So a certain board genius forwarded this link to me. I always like to have fun with these...but always like suggestions too.

I think my Richie Ali pic is perfect for this, but got any catchy cover sayings?

so the Pats traded Randy Moss to the Vikes for a 3rd round pick.

so much for the thought that he was worth a 1st rounder and more.
