Yahoo Fantasy League - 14 team Draft 7:45 EST Tonight!!
Kind of late but I have started a league on Yahoo and would like to see if we can get 14 from the board to join and have a good time. Its a daily league and I'm looking for serious players that are going to pay attention all season. It's a deep league (14 teams, deep rosters and 13 total categories)...Head to head scoring, 2 divisions, 8 teams in playoffs...I'm already in so the next 13 to sign up will get spots...The league ID is 79576 and the PW is "pucks"...Hopefully we get it full by 745 EST for the draft Tuesday, Oct. 5th!!
Oh, it said tonight. Well, I would have been in either way anyways. I'm going to have to merge this though with the ongoing thread, though
No problem...There's just no way for people to see that we need to get it filled...any way we can draw people in to see that there is a new league with openings?
Just jumped on, looked at the league settings and it says sog and hits, are these going to stick or be removed prior to opening day?
They are going to stay...I thought with specialized categories and deeper rosters, it'll make people look at some different players...7 spots left, DRAFT 745 EST TONIGHT!!

Hits I like, maybe blocked shots (which Yahoo added this year I think) would create a more varied player pool than SOG, which generally just goes up with other offensive stats (loose correlation, I know).
im in a keeper where we added hits this season. it goves more value to the role players and defenseman in bigger leagues. if you have 14 teams. Hits are a good stat to have IMO

Actually, I agree...SOG could kind of be an empty stat where blocked shots could get some guys drafted that normally wouldn't be...I'll make the change before the draft
