According to Torts via Andrew Gross:

Frolov-Christensen-Gaborik
Dubinsky-Anisimov-Callahan
Avery-Stepan-Fedotenko (though Avery and Fedotenko switched wings for some drills today)
Boogaard-Boyle-Prust.

Christensen and Gilroy both bring more to the table than Kennedy.

I don't see what one has to do with the other. Gilroy is a defenseman. Kennedy is a forward.

You realize they play different positions, right? Gilroy being on the team doesn't affect Kennedy at all.

Aside from skating fast, Kennedy hasn't done too much himself.

What does Kennedy do at all? Is there even room for him at all?

They need to cut the roster and salary cap hit, doesn't matter what position.

It does matter when the two players aren't competing for the same spot. They're under the cap so salary doesn't factor into the decision.

Look, I'm not advocating Guerin. I just wouldn't be surprised.
Not hard to do when you jump over the ice whenever you feel like it, get as many minutes as your carcass can handle on the powerplay and dictate who your linemates are. The 2nd tour for the mercenary was an unmitigated disaser that could not end fast enough. Heck, even Captain Nyquil put up decent points when he had the run of the place. But that's before he sucked the blood out of the team with his bombastic personality.

But the best part, for both, was the intangibles on display.

Why? We are already under the cap. And if Gilroy is cut, we need to replace him. Obviously none of the other kids are ready to do that. We have too many forwards as it is. Kennedy doesn't need to be replaced if he gets claimed.

He had at least couple of good assists, hit people, took the puck away, etc. you know all the little things that Christensen is clueless about.

I don't understand this. Sather says he's not interested on anyone currently on the waiver wire, but he needs flexibility in case someone else hits the wire? Why not just make the moves then? Why expose Kennedy at all? He's cheap and he's valuable. White, not so much.

As supposed to who on that team? What guy did he block? What guy did he retard his development?

I'm not saying his second turn here was a success. What I am saying is despite his age and the fans tiring of him, he was still productive. At the time people wanted him to take reduced role. Looking back, who was he really blocking?

Sather says he is just trying to create flexibility should he wish to acquire another player in the next couple of days..
