Yep, there's a lot of suck on the waiver wire this week.

No big surprise here. I'm assuming now that Henry was kept up in case Hamr couldn't go, and that his being waved now indicates Hamr can go. Here's hoping, anyway.

Should have waived Picard instead of Henry.

Not Sanford.. Who would replace Price after he is the biggest disappointment this year as per the predictions from "The Score"..

Sanford should be kept in, hes a good 3rd goalie just in case something happens to Auld or Price and he has the experience which is nice. Also to say Hamilton is losing decent goalie depth unless theirs a plan for Ramo to come back to North America but very unlikely

Normally I would agree that having the safer, more experienced option would be better than the more mobile but weaker defender, but in this case, without Picard our PP might be this:

PK Spacek
Gorges O'Byrne

Yiiiiiiiiikes. Even for one game.

I'd say MIGHT. He's definitely going to be a possibility for next year and he's probably capable. But there's absolutely no reason to assume he will definitely come over her and the Habs won't have anyone else as a better option when he does.

Sanford is not going anywhere. He will clear waivers and be sent to Hamilton, as will Alex Henry who will probably go captain that team.

Those are my expectations. Henry was captain last season, right?

This sucks. I thought Henry deserved a spot. OB is yellow and the Habs have the softest(fighting-wise) team in the history of the NHL. I guess we'll get to see Spacek getting chased around the ice a lot more this season. Thanks Jacques "The Pacifist" Martin.

I agree he had a good camp. Got to be some politics involved. On the bright side, I get to see him in Hamilton.
It will be interesting to see if Spacek gets into another scrap, it was actually pretty funny watching him when he realized he was one on one with that guy.

For real.. but I guess I'll put my faith in the organization. I've been suprised many times in the past where decisions turned out to be really good ones, especially lately.
