I don't know what everybody's problem is...I was entertained by both those movies. ****ing Tommy Gunn still pisses me off.

Honestly, I am just happy it wasn't a giant bong (although I would assume he and Victorino have one of those somewhere in the locker room) in Werth's locker. They don't suspend you for the playoffs for vodka.

I guess that's when you can tell the vast difference between a Flyers board, and a Flyers board mentioning the Phillies. Mike Richards has a bottle of vodka = How dare he?!?!?! He's such a partier!!!!!one11! Jayson Werth has "some," meaning more then one bottle of tequila = :crickets:

I'm doing a pool for my dad's work. There's a category of french players where we have to pick one.
I've narrowed it down to
Gagne
Briere
Giroux

I've picked Giroux... do you guys think he'll have the most points?

I would have gone with Briere personally, he seems like the sure thing for 25 goals and 25 assists.

I want to lean toward Briere, but wouldn't be a bad pick with Gagne. I'll tell you one thing. I definitely think Giroux will have the least points of those 3.

Haven't heard one in a while so I doubt it but I don't listen to the radio to much anymore.

i would have gone with gagne, or briere, myself. giroux really needs to learn how to shoot instead of trying to set up the perfect play every time...especially when his linemates arent capable of finishing those plays.

Well I should have read this thread first. Season started, and I'm stuck with Giroux. Oh well, hopefully he can surprise.

Eberle's filthy goal last night was #2 on the Sportscenter Top 10. #1? You guessed it: a dunk...in preseason. For some reason dunking when somebody is defending you is a huge accomplishment for 7 foot tall men.

I thought Fleurys save on Carter was a lot more impressive then Eberle's goal.

Anyone else catch this:

"It’s good to see all the new players, the wives and getting to meet them, make them feel comfortable and get everyone together again,” said Flyers captain Mike Richards.

Let the Drama begin

Funny, even though she's not my girlfriend, but I know she badly wants a PSP with Crisis Core and Birth by Sleep, so I was thinking when I get a job, I'd get her all 3 for Christmas haha. Or am I thinking too big? I know she would be the happiest girl in the world too if I did that.

don't do it. . . unless you KNOW for a fact she'll want to be with you. Otherwise you are going to land smack dab in the friend zone and look like a HUGE dolt.
