Schedule

This is great! I can't wait for this season to start. Flying up for the home opener and I'll be using this schedule the rest of the way.....Thanks for putting this out there for us!

I'm not sure what platform you are on, but usually when you go to to your print or page setup dialog you can select "tiling" which splits it into two pages. Theres so much information it would be really small had i designed it on one letter sized page. If you keep having trouble, i'll split it into two pages for you...let me know.

where it's got the Rangers logo and the NHL logo with the dash in the box...that's where we'd put the score? because there's a results box too and i'm a little confused about it. but otherwise, this is absolutely fantastic and i can't wait to start using it
Under the Rangers logo, write the Rangers score, followed by the opponents score which is under the NHL logo. Next to that is the Result column, where you can put WIN, LOSS, OTL, OTW, SOW, SOL... Or a simple W,L,O..etc... whatever you want. Enjoy!

Maybe you could crop down each month in Adobe Acrobat and scale it to a wallpaper? The real use for this is to print it out and hand write in the results... It makes it interactive. I've also designed magnet boards for the playoffs with all the team logos that you can move around, i wish I could give those out too they are a lot of fun.

Anyhow - Glad people are enjoying them. Any mistakes you catch or comments - let me know!

Everyone is very welcome!

Gotcha. I'm just going to print out one for my pocket use/wallet and another for somewhere in my house.

Thanks for the work and info!

Enjoy.

Information and tips on the schedule - Fortunately, I have the benefit of having some really great printers at my fingertips and I print it out to size (5.5"x18"). I know not everyone has that but you can tile it on two standard letter size (8.5x11) papers.

Then I recommend taping it to a wall or just leaving it out so you can write in the scores, w/l/ot, home and away records, etc... This year i added "your 3 stars of the month" Choose whoever you would like obviously.

Thanks for all of the interest. I put a lot of effort into this years schedule. The only thing I ask is to not take credit for it.

If there are any questions about printing, appearance, trouble downloading etc... feel free to PM me. Any comments or suggestions for next year are also welcomed.

Again, any problems PM me.

And one more thing -

LETS GO RANGERS!
Thanks HBNYC, my apologies for not remembering it was you. Great work as always, much appreciated!! And I'm all with you for LETS GO RANGERS!!!!!

I can't find tiling at all, so spliting it in two pages would be very helpful. Thanks so much for this, it's truly amazing and well done.

Awesome work HBNYC!

Wow. The Rangers have a VERY favorable travel schedule for the first month+ of the season. They do not travel out west until November 19th. Until then, they have 11 home games, 8 away games, and the furthest they have to travel is Toronto.

Only thing is, though, that they have a lot of compacted game sets:

- 3 in 4 (10/21 @ TOR, 10/23 @ BOS, 10/24 vs. NJ)
- 4 in 6 (10/27 vs. ATL, 10/29 vs. CAR, 10/30 @ TOR, 11/1 vs. CHI)
- 3 in 4 (11/4 @ PHI, 11/5 @ NJ, 11/7 vs. STL)
- 3 in 4 (11/14 vs. EDM, 11/15 @ PIT, 11/17 vs. BOS)

Looks like plenty of work for Biron in the first month! Even through mid-December, it looks like there are a lot of back to backs. Hopefully Biron stays sharp.

Yeah I noticed those sets as well. Every year they have those groupings, because of concerts, the Knicks and other events at the Garden. Its gotta be tough to make a schedule that fits all 30 teams and doesnt feature back to backs every week.

Speaking of back-to-back sets:

The Rangers have 18 of those throughout the year... it seems like 3 each month which is pretty high. They have less at the end of the year which is good.

When I was down in the city a few weeks ago I took a schedule at a parking garage. Made it simple for me.

For those of you having trouble printing the sked because it was too long -

I split it into two pages so it can be printed on two 8.5x11 standard letter sheets.

Heres the link for that:

fantastic schedule, great work!

Just one request, is it possible for you to put the day of the week next to the date for each game?
