True... how about 9th place, just to let them think they are coming close to becoming a real team, and then they crash and burn again in 11-12? I like the sound of that.

Go Habs Go!

The defence will have to hold up and we'll have to get some timely goal scoring tonight.

This I agree with.
No matter how good or bad either team is these games are always exciting, and close (for the most part)

Just win (oh and if Plekanec, Subban and Andrei could have good games that would help my pools )

Sorry guys, I think that we will lose tonight.

Our D really scares me:
Picard - O'Byrne
Spacek - PK (those two will make a tonne of mistakes)
Gill is not very efficient in regular season.

Gorges is our only reliable D. When Gorges is the best D, then something is not right.

If we're predicting I say Habs 4 leaf 1 and we get goals from Gionta, Subban, and Lapierre nets a couple to take the first star.

Go Habs Go!

I am not too optimistic about tonight.

Three (possibly four) of our top players are not in uniform.

They are playing in TO. The Leafs are going to be pumped up to the max.

And 2 of our most physical players (Henry & White) have been sent down to Hamilton...

SO, if the Habs win, it's gonna be a huge surprise

I don't know about anyone else, but German folk dancing is the only thing that could keep me away from my habs. Riveting times on the ol' German dance floor.

Believe me, it would be auf wiedersehen if we didn't have a performance coming up next week.
(I'm not even German, I'm Italian - my SO is German and got me into it. Just another historical example of Germany making Italy it's ***** )

Oh well, Go Habs!

Haha well ok, in that case I'll make an exception. Plus you did create the amazing desk top pic that I'm still currently using. So I'll cut you some slack on this one.
