so I am looking at the front page of espn.com and there is a pic of Carcillo and Crosby in a overhead shot at center ice. The thing is Carcillo's nameplate is missing or has been airbrished out. How does that happen? oh wait. nevermind.

Seriously, how f'd up is that? Even if it is Metropolit, they couldn't find ANY overhead pics of any current Flyer against the Golden ****??
Wow. That is pretty lame, even if it is Metropolit, why take his name off the jersey...that is even worse than putting an outdated photo up, I would think.

doesnt matter. another fail by ESPN.com not even able to come up with a updated photo. in this age of photo shopping and all they could not come up with a updated photo? they had to go back several seasons for a photo of a Flyers/Pens faceoff involving Crosby?
I honestly knew this would happen. I ****ing knew it. Alright Bob, all yours.
Havent read any other post after this so here is my take. Interesting and good choice imo. You know what you have in Boucher. The coaches want to see what he has and why not right away? IMO they are giving him the opportunity to win the #1 job, no matter what. He has a chnace to run with this and never give it back up. If they were in love with Leighton i dont think the rushkie gets this chance imo. Unless he look sreally bad, do not pull him. Let him ride it out for this game. No Pronger either, wow.

ESPN puts the "MEH" crew in charge of their hockey web pages. "MEH" = "Me esteem hockey."

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but heres Timmy P's recent article on CSNPhilly.com:
Quote:
Chris Pronger will sit out the Flyers' season opener against Pittsburgh tonight, needing more time to rest the veteran's ailing knee, reports CSNPhilly.com insider Tim Panaccio.
On Tuesday, head coach Peter Laviolette said it would be Pronger's decision, and no on else's, on whether he would play or sit. Pronger practiced with teammates Tuesday.
In other news, Sergei Bobrovsky will be the Flyers' starting goalie against the Penguins.
PREDICTION TIME:
First goal: Hartnell
First assist: Carle
First big hit: Richards
First goal allowed: Comrie
First fight: Shelley
First penalty: Hartnell
