Is Leclaire confirmed? Elliott should play this one and Leclaire in TO.

Leclaire should get both. Give him a solid month to be the #1. Rely on him heavily. If he falters. its all on Elliott.

We could start a plunger and still beat the Sabres.

Cant wait for this one. I ****ing LOVE games against the Sabres. Heres hoping Spezza is good to know. Hes gonna have a huge year!

I can't believe the Sabres are a threat with that forward group.

mods: don't delete this post, please. not sure what your criteria are based on recent deletions, so just being safe.

Is Dany Heatley on your banner wearing a turtleneck and Sabres jersey? I just don't even know how to process that.

Anyways, I'm praying to jebas that we don't have to see Leclaire tomorrow. I'm just not ready for that kind of disappointment this early in the season. I want him to to disappear. This is Elliott's team until Lehner is nice and ripe.

It's Vanek.

Anyway, I hope Elliott plays. He's undefeated against the Slugs, isn't he?
I hope Spezza plays too.

GO SENS GO.

If only Sensfan83 were here to see Fisher on the top line. RIP Sensfan83.

Was Leclaire confirmed as starter?

Their forwards are not bad. If Connolly stays healthy, he's a pretty damn good 1st line center. Roy is the PERFECT second line center. Vanek can put up 40 goals and Pomminville 30.

Their D is laughable though.

Clouston should be fired on the spot if Elliott doesn't start tonight for you guys. He's 8-0-0 vs Buffalo. Last year, Buffalo was 0-4-0 vs Elliott and 1-0-1 vs Leclaire. I gotta think Clouston realizes this and gives Elliott the nod tonight.

Odd perspective considering they won the division last season with much the same group of forwards and then, essentially, swapped Matt Ellis, Tim Kennedy, Adam Mair, and Clarke MacArthur for Tyler Ennis, Nathan Gerbe, Cody McCormick, and Rob Niedermayer, which, on the whole, is a huge offensive upgrade.

While "laughable" may be stretching it a bit, it's fair to say most Sabres fans are far more concerned with how the defense is going to come together than whether the offense will be better than last season (it will be). There are a lot of question marks there outside of Myers/Morrisonn and Leopold.

Good luck tonight. I'm just hoping for no injuries from our side, because it seems someone always gets hurt when we play in Ottawa (Vanek, Stafford, Kaleta, et al.), and then we'll beat the Rangers tomorrow night for a weekend split.

After watching those Kids in edmonton, i cant help but to think we suck on offensive prospects. They pulled off skillful fast plays. That Hall & Eberle are really something !!

**** You Cowen, u better mature to be a stud next year.
That MPS is amazing. Reminds me of a young hossa.

Lets leave spezza Off the ice for a few games. Its obviously Not a groin injury. Lower back as always. Lets give him a week to rest.
