Lydman is also out as of now, so Fowler or Mara will take the other top 4 spot, with the other with Brooksy on the 3rd pair. Mikk is most likely the #7.
Isn't Lydman supposed to be back on opening night?

I'd pretty much count Brookbank as a lock on the 3rd pair, but who knows.

Kinda bummed that Mac is gone. thought he could have really helped the PK.
Maybe because we killed 8 PPs yesterday they though it wasnt a big deal for mac to stay

Well he just started skating so I would assume he would need to practice with the team for at least two weeks before he plays.

I thought Green was more deserving to stay than both Sexton and Voros. Too bad Voros is on a one way contract. The fact Sexton is still up could indicate that Carlyle is aiming at 3 scoring lines, I don't see them keeping him up to play in the press box.

Who is left who could center the third line though?

I was hoping the Ryan experiment was over based on the last few games....

Based on the last exhibition game, Marchant will center the 3rd line, with Chipchurra centering the fourth line. I think that the problem is more what happens if a center is injured,

I know who the remaining centers on the team are. The implication was who was left who could play center on a third scoring line.......

It would seem that the 3rd scoring line is dead right now.

Then why keep Sexton up?

What Marchant flanked by Sexton and Bodie doesn't scream scoring to you?

This is typical Carlyle half ass offensive line. Either commit to it or don't do it:

My preference:

Beleksy Getzlaf Perry
Blake Koivu Selanne
Ryan Marchant Sexton
Bodie Chipchura Parros/Vorros

let ryan make mistakes and maximize offense

Beleksy Getzlaf Perry
Blake Koivu Selanne
Bodie Ryan Sexton
Chipchura Marchant Parros/Vorros

or go back to bread & butter

Ryan Getzlaf Perry
Blake Koivu Selanne
Bodie Marchant Belesky
Parros Chipchura Voros/4th liner

Sexton -> Minors and call up an upgrade over Voros

Pretty good camp overall.
I am a little surprised with the high public praise for Fowler by RC.
Generally, he tends to bury his postive comments for the youngsters. Seems like a good sign.

Teemu and Koivu appear to be in high spirits which can only help.
As discussed elsewhere, the defensive holes will likely become an aggravating problem. Hang in there Hiller.

Go get 'em Ducks!

I think Sexton was only on the 3rd line on practice because of Beleskey's injury.

Bottom 6:

Beleskey - Marchant - Bodie
Voros - Chipchura - Parros

(Carter, Sexton extra).
