Anyone else not able to find the NHL.com app on the App Store? I can't find it, and NHL.com says they have one.

Do blackouts go by your IP address?

Anybody know if it goes by your IP address or your billing address? Because I need to buy Gamecenter or Hockeystreams to watch tonight's game.

I know where people can watch live NHL streams really easily(free) however I am sure that will go against the rules of this site. So PM me and I'll help you guys out.

Yeah I'm not going to be around during the game but I wanted to watch it at a later time.

You are actually better off with 360 since there are no blackouts whatsoever. But from what I understand of centreice online it's a little more reliable, especially regarding archived games which are the main benefit of the service over "traditional" means...

I just use hockeystreams.com . I have yet to have any problems with it, and for 30 bucks, I get to 100% watch the game. I dont have the HD package, but the regular one is good enough. Had it for 3 years so I know its legit.

Blackouts go by IP Address (where your computer is plugged in or connected) has nothing to do with your billing address etc

On gamecenter I am almost positive this game will be blacked out for everyone because VERSUS is considered nationally televised.

Center Ice has a free trial until oct 24th

As did I, but it was blacked out in the US because Versus is technically a national broadcast for them.

Having said that, I'm impressed after one game. I think this was a good buy.

I have it and love it, especially for the playoffs. Got it last year and it was really nice being able to watch the games at work.
It's still miles behind MLB.TV though, but at least this year we'll be able to get the home feeds.

How is the quality? Is it similar to what you see if you go to NHL.com and check out the highights?

I think the quality might be better than that. I was quite impressed with how clear the picture was.

I've yet to try it on my tv, but I was more than happy with how it looked on the monitor (22 inch widescreen).

Really? That sounds perfect man. I usually hook my PC to my TV to watch games too.

Definitely considering it now.

NHL Center Ice is free until the end of October - no need to pay for what you can possibly get for free. After that, my plan is to watch the 25 games nationally televised in Canada (TSN, TSN2, Sportsnet Ontario, NHLN, RDS, CBC). I figure I will watch 5-10 games at the local watering hole which has NHL Center Ice. THat gives me 42 games for free - the remaining will be at atdhe.net.

This is the first year I will not have NHL Center Ice to watch all 82 games, or at least that is what I am telling myself......I will likely cave in the first game I cannot watch

This isn't about NHL Center Ice though. It's about NHL Gamecenter Live. There is no free preview with that.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. You can pull up most games from the last few years instantly.

I've yet to check out the classic games...could be fun when the season is over.

Cheaper. No Blackouts, better quality. Stream to TV or iPhone.

Just got Gamecenter Live and it is very nice. Hooked it up to the old HDTV and you can't tell I'm streaming it from an online source. Looks just as great as regular HD. Very happy so far!
