Yup, Gord Wilson just confirmed it on the TEAM 1200

I'm kind of ok with this. Let's hope his kick ass game 5 performance carries over. Kid needs some confidence

Good. I hope Leclaire has a great game and shuts everybody up around here. The guy had a run of bad luck last season (didn't have the greatest pre-season also, but people seem to forget he gave us the better chance to win in the series vs. the Pens (especially game 5)), lets give him another chance to prove himself before we throw him under the bus.

Odds that Leclaire gets pulled or injured?

I'd say 60%.

Haha on second thought, my buddy won em on the radio...

Leclaire standing on his head tonight won't change my opinion...it's the wrong call. When you look bad on the goals you let in AND the shots you stop, don't send him right back in. Especially when the backup took his job last year and at least showed he can make the tough stops in the pre-season.

Leclaire with the shutout tonight, silencing the nay-sayers.

Book it.

I'd bet on him getting pulled. I'm betting the over on this game. WAY over. I'm thinking like a 7-6 **** fest. Think game 1 of round 2 back in 05-06.

EDIT: OMFG. Clapman is at 2:30 of this highlight package. This guy has been around forever.

I'm really hoping the Sens can get through one game without a goal being scored on Leclaire/Elliot through the five-hole from a bad angle after the player just crosses the blue line and is still above the face-off circles with no traffic in front. That would be good. If the Sens could just do that at least once.

Finally!! After five six long months! Soooo pumped for this, continuing the tradition/streak of home openers, tenth straight year. Should be a solid game. Leclaire better come through, he can shut up alot of people for a bit just like Giguere did last night for the Leafs.

GO SENS GO!!

So you're saying you're okay with him letting in 4 goals today?

Watching the highlights of the game NEVER gets old. To this day, don't understand how the Sens found a way to lose that game.

This is a kick in the ass for Elliot. I feel so bad for the kid showing that he can be the starter and we go back to this sack of ****. Whatever, Leclaire won't last.

I think that would be a realistic expectation for him at this point, but I don't see the Sabres getting 40 shots on us. More like 30. This team is going to need to score 5 goals to win hockey games, so 4 seems like a good number. Keep it at or under 4 and I'll keep the *****ing and moaning at a minimum.

We gotta get the PP going. We're going to be living and dying by it until the goaltending improves.

Leclaire will have a solid game, I just have a feeling.

If he cannot step up in the SEASON opener with a chance to cement himself as the starter, than he's done.

I was confused for so many days after that game. Its sad to watch the defensive coverage and bad pinches that lead to countless 2 on 1s.

Lalime ... Oops, i ment Elliott isnt better then leclaire. They both suck

If you have to feel bad for anyone, it should be Lehner, Outplayibg both in pre season and getting the shaft to bingo
