That's just a stupid comment IMO. Hustling has nothing to do with making the correct call.

he could score the game winner of the cup finals and you'd still get on his ass about defense... GTFO him, and his line were far and away not only reason the flyers AS A TEAM **** the bed today, and still came away with a point on the road in another teams home opener.

I'm not even going to point fingers at the officials. The push from our own zone to neutral ice was just absolutely atrocious. Chris Pronger, you're getting paid a lot of money. Earn it. Carcillo was non existent. Did he get ejected and I missed it? Just an awful outing, nothing positive from this game at all. Boucher was fortunate in my eyes, I felt he look a little jittery. I'm glad Briere still has his touch though.

I mean, he skated directly through the crease right as the shot was taken. It even looked liked he made contact with Boucher.

What's with Zherdev's low icetime? Who are his linemates?

You can say that some penalties were funny looking but in the end we did not deserve this game. Flyers played 20 min in this game.

JVR and Boucher were good and so was Briere (on the attack only)

Worst forwards on the ice were Hartnell and Zherdev.

Bag skate this ****ing team. They are not ready for anything.

Boosh played a heck of a game....Flyers had to kill a lot of penalties tonight, that wears you down. We had a shot to win it and did not even play all that well....We got a good team, i ain't sweatin it.The refs were atrocious in the 3rd period, especially when it counted most near the end.St Louis has a pretty good club, i give em credit.

Is there a stupider team in the NHL with the puck in their own zone than the Flyers? They consistently hand the puck over for golden scoring opportunities, year after year. Even when they have a clear out, it is just too easy to predict. The giveaway for the OT goal is a perfect example: gave it away and the Blues threaten, then get the puck back and, inexplicably, toss it backwards behind the net.

Can we get rid of Shelley yet? It's obvious Lavi doesn't want to play him. He's had Cote minutes so far. Am I waiting for something magical to happen with him where he suddenly becomes useful?

And we were lucky to get that. And also, Briere is bad defensively. I'm sure that's hard to see after he scores a goal and all, but it's the truth.

Meh. Poor performance but got a point, I'm happy enough with that. As for not being ready, we won in Pittsburgh the other night! We looked plenty ready then, just a touch rusty today. Flying cross-country early does that to you.

he's making magic happen on the bench with his killer joker face smile while counting the silly amount of benjamins paid to him by our equally silly general manager

Matt Walker - 1.7 mil
Jody Shelley - 1.1 mil

The dynamic duo of uselessness and cap mismanagement!
