O'Brien, Butler and Daugavins are all having good starts with 3pts in 2 games.

Maybe this is the year where we finally see the potential in O'Brien - he did look good in the pre-season.

I seen him play in a preseason game in St. John's, I thought he played really well. Has alot of hustle, but maybe not quite the hands to finish off plays. Sorta like a Chris Kelly type breed

Brodeur hurt last nite had to leave with 4-5 min left in game.

Cut on face, not sure how bad, they signed goalie Shane Connelly as a back up for tonite...................

Heard a unconfirmed rumor Brust hurt his knee tonite................................

Last night, Brodeur collided with one of the B-Sens defenseman. Bingo had to sign a new goalie just to back up Brust.

Brust did get a bit floppy tonight @ times.

Also he is 5th goalie in the Org, but loss was Not his fault as per coach KK. As per KK "Said loss not on Brust"

Team effort or lack of caused the loss..........

I think KK will put Gryba in and pull one of the two goons (I mean, did he really need to dress both Spencer and Lessard?). He needs the Lehner option as well, but that's on the US visa process which moves at its own pace.

Well pulling Lessard or Spencer won't matter to put Gryba in? Gryba is a D-man and Lessard and Spencer are playing wing.

This team definitely has more skill than in the last few season. You can tell that the passing is much improved, the shots are much improved. They got out hustled last night. They had there opportunities. Give it a few games to get some chemistry. So far it looks like Locke and Keller are really jelling on their line.

I do have to say, in the past i've not been so hot on Jim O'Brien, but watching him out there in two games, it looks like he's stepping his game up. It must be the mullet.

Just in case your not aware Obrien basically got an earful of crap from Sens management at season's end last year. I was surprised how pleased they sounded about him and the way he approached his off season.

I don't see where he could be become anything more than a 4th liner but he atleast appears to be playing that role better.

Yeah, it's actually quite pathetic. Opening weekend and barely half a house. Terrible.

Didn't take long for the usual "goalies bad luck" in the organization

With three goalies in Bingo ( once Lehner gets there) all signed to Ottawa, do they have to keep all three in the AHL or can they send one to the ECHL?

I know we just renewed a ECHL affiliation but I'm not sure about the players in question.

It is sad, but I don't really blame the fans. If the team wins a few games this season and looks like they'll make a charge for the playoffs, they'll come back.
