Who the hell has $3000 to spend on a ball that could have been thrown by freakin Travis Wood. No where on there does it say that it was thrown by Halladay or what inning or anything. I mean **** I got the ball used for the last out of the 7th inning in his Perfect game that Chooch threw into the crowd that I caught . Can I sell that for $3000+?
If you were as smart as this seller, yes, you probably could.

The thing is that seller is Major League Baseball. I don't think I have a way of actually proving that the ball that I have is from that game.

I didn't realize the MLB was selling it. I was just saying that you would have made bank if you sold it with a COA a day or two after the game.

I understand. Is their any way of actually proving that my ball is from that game?

Now this one is funny. Not being sold by Major League Baseball but it's on their auction website and the jersey is one of the fake asian ones.

Probably not. Sounds like they don't bother to certify balls in advance unless an expected event could happen (600th HR, etc.).

Not to trash on Lee too much, but it has to be somewhat of a mark against him that 2 managers in a row have not been comfortable starting him on 3 days rest.

I think that you need to use your own video if you expect it to stay up.

Depends on the situation, in a must win they might have went with him, but being that if the Rays force a game 5 you have a fully rested Cliff Lee I can see why they didn't start him today.

Price didn't pitch in an elimination game...

Yeah, but it doesn't cost the Rays, so no one will second guess that.

Now it's a rematch of Lee vs. Price, and I have a feeling Price won't struggle as much this time out.

Yeah, but you also have to go up against fully-rested David Price.

But I don't think Price is viewed on the same level of Lee and he got knocked around in Game 1 plus Wade Davis had a good last 13 starts of the season (7-1, 3.22).

I would rather face the Braves but I really don't think San Fran is much of a threat either. As good as their starting pitching is, their hitting is equally bad. They are the only team that can match the Phillies pitching, but great pitching against bad hitting is a lot better then great pitching against good hitting.

I'll face whatever team has the balls to try to out-do the Phillies right now. If it happens, I'll tip my cap, but I'm confident they'll let me keep my hands in my pocket and my hat on my head to keep warm through the month.

Braves take the lead! I'd much rather face them than the Giants.

This is some ridiculously bad baseball from the Braves here.

Jesus, how many errors does Conrad have in the last few weeks alone? I know he had multiple in that last series of the season against us.
