OCTOBER SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

I was just kind of getting my feet wet in my first NHL game. And it was a fun process.
I guess for me, it's just one of those things where you kind of go, "I guess I got lucky".
- Derek Stepan

We’re all really happy for Derek. Hopefully he can continue to play strong because he was really good in camp and tonight.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Obviously, we’re not going to score six every game. Coming off last year, one of our bigger problems was getting to the net.
Everybody is trying to do that now.
- Ryan Callahan

1 P.M. start time for a rivalry like this is weird, usually the Isles save the holiday afternoon games for lesser opponents not the Rangers. At least it works out well for you LoFFeN, won't keep you up all night.

LGR!

The Isles lineup is...

All i'm gonna say is we better win this game. Gonna be really disappointing if we lose to that.

Yep.

Although the Islanders really do always seem to play us very hard regardless of the lineup.

Lundqvist VS Dipietro? When's the last time that happened? Not going to lie, I miss it.

Why is this an afternoon game? works out for me because it's Thanksgiving Monday tomorrow. 2nd Thanksgiving in as many days and hockey right after, nice.

That is not true. The opponents are not picked by the other team on what day to play. Columbus day is usually kids opening day for NYI. Not sure if they are doing that tomorrow. If so it would really suck for whoever is there.

As an Isle fan, i hope not. He was lost out there yesterday. He needs more games and should be playing some in the Bridge.

Even though we have injuries, we are better than last year. Tavares one is a big one from Saturday but they played well. What a team looks like on paper means nothing as all of you should know.

Good game tomorrow.

i dont want DP to play because he gets too into these games. dont want him overdoing it. rolli is a terrific goalie, let him take over. agreed with the bolded, last night they played their ***** off to get back, id like to see how they do in a rivalry game!

anyway, i hope for an exciting game, with an isles win of course!
