Seriously considering calling into work so I can watch this... Is that bad?? I can't decide. It's only the 2nd game of the year way too early for me to be missing games.

The only bad thing about this is if the Rangers lose horribly you're going to feel awful not only because they lost but because you didn't come in. It's basically gambling haha

I try to keep my priorities in check, but sometimes I can't help myself

Early game? Nice, 6pm instead of midnight.

I fully expect to win this one; if they can't beat an Islander team minus Streit, Okposo and Tavares then they deserve ridicule. I know they play us hard, but that's still their three best players on the shelf.

I don't remember. We got anything carrying over from the last time we played them? Any paybacks due? Boogey gonna target anyone? He better play tomorrow, cause it's gonna get ugly when we run up the score.

Damn straight - it'll be nice watching a game live versus the next morning and this one is being carried on ESPN America so I'll actually be watching on the big TV screen versus hockeystreams on my computer (though I have a 40" monitor for my PC anyway ).

Gabby's turn for a hattrick...I love how the offense has looked since preseason started...3 goals has been the lowest output.

Well - we are missing our 7 million dollar man & Capitano Qualudo, our 2nd leading scorer last year In Vinny Suntan and we somehow felt necessary with our firepower up front that we had the luxury to scratch a 73 point player from 2 years ago (Odd Whyte). Oh yeah - we also had to demote our 6 million dollar premiere defender too (who is now tearing up the AHL as an assistmachine! - no less). If the Isles do not win this one with our decimated team - then they should be ashamed!

LOL, "suntan". Fitting nickname. Vinny Orange is my favorite though.

Should make it home just in time.

Funny thing is I go to school across the street, so I have to race home from class to watch a game on TV that's going to take place right across the street.

Really... LOL.. that is a crazy horrible lineup that the Isles have right now... Hank
should be very close to pitching a shutout.

Should be a great 2-0 start to the season this year..

Should be a good game. Hopefully the Rangers keep up the energy and pace they had in the last game.

Like everyone else, I'm going to miss the game due to being stuck at work. I was flipping through the guide this morning though and it looks like they're going to show the full game at 7 EST, not a Rangers in 60.

LGR!!

Done and Done! Let's Go Rangers!

Honestly I caught a bit of a flu bug this weekend and don't feel fantastic so working outside in the rain today would probably just make it worse right? I don't feel terrible about calling in as this is my last 3 weeks of work at this particular job and I am the only other employee so it's pretty secure. Besides I do everything I am asked without a single complaint, and I am super reliable (usually). Sure it's a dick move but I don't think my boss understands the importance of the Rangers/Isles rivalry.
