I'd love to see these lines at forward
JvR Richards Carter
Hartnell Briere Leino
Powe Giroux Zherdev
Shelley Betts Carcillo

I thought I read we were going to recall Nodl when we figured out what to do with Leighton and Lappy, did we do that yet? Who is coming out for Pronger? Bartulis? Why is Walker still in the lineup?

I'd rather they put Powe at center and Giroux on the wing...

Why do we need Shelley. Put Nodl in.

Shelley will play 3 min and take one penalty or even 2.

Nodl needs to be on the PK, to replace Lappy to give our skilled skaters some time off

Shelley better fight someone tonight or go home, he's been useless so far this season

How long do banner ceremonies typically take?

I think Chicago's was only like 10-15 or so.

We had better not be doing it as big as they did.

Killer GDT here. Large applause to OP!

I'm hoping tonight will be a good battle between our respective squads and that there are no injuries. Watch these kids...theyve got speed.

Well, I do plan on viewing the game on TV...

But no, seriously. I expect to see O'Donnell get cooked at least once tonight. Maybe even Pronger, depending on how good his knee really feels. First game back is always a tough one; practice isn't the same.

The Avs are such a fun team to watch! So glad they are in the west because I love to root for them. This should be a great game but I'm afraid the Flyers will have to win this one.

IIRC, Pronger had problems with the media early on in his career similar to how Richards did last year. He eventually figured out how to deal with them.

The Avs looked great against Chicago; hopefully they're a little rusty after a few days off.

Discipline!
