Great game by Carter, Mez was real strong, and Carle is looking fantastic imo

Are we witnessing Roo turning into a superstar and would it make sense to offer him a 9 year 30 mill contract right now. Load it up front a bit for Ferrarii money and hope we can get him to a low cap hit.

Hartnell is probably the dumbest player on our team. He just can't help it. I can not believe we are paying him over 4M a year. Dude is just plain ****ing stupid. ****..

Zherdev has been out lazyest player.

I bet Boosh gets the next start. Let them fight it out for the #1 position.

Question for people with NHL Network. Did they let go, Dan Pollard?

Excellent game for the most part.

Our PP needs to start producing though if we want to maintain this success. It would also help if Hartnell could do something besides take bad penalties (and, in one case this game, help cause a goal against) and Zherdev to do anything period.

Standouts of this game were Bobrovsky, Carter, Carle, Richards, Giroux, and pretty much the rest of the defense. Even Shelley had a pretty good first period.

Briere and Carle are really growing on me. Briere keeps coming up big every year in some form or another and Carle has made some very timely defensive decisions over the last season (including the few games this season).

The question is... what does FH not miss about Boston?

Meszaros and O'Donnell are so much better than Bartulis Parent it's ridiculous. Those guys getting 15+ minutes a night is going to do wonders for this team when the playoffs come around. I Didn't know Meszaros was that strong - he sure knocks people around easily.

Also Coburn has played very well.

Bartulis gets some unwarranted hate. O'Donnell has looked very bad in the first 2 games, and had an ok game tonight. Plus O'Donnell is a veteran with 15+ years of experience.

Bartulis has only played 2/3 of a season, and has lots of room to develop. I am hoping they rotate him in still.

I actually love the city for the most part, my list would basically be cost and transportation.

Haha, I miss it so much. Working is awesome from a "feeling good about yourself" standpoint and a "having money" standpoint, but everything else about it sucks and I like my job. Guess we are venturing into Obsequious territory though.

My take on tonight:

Richards and Carter had lots of great chances, good to see
Bobrovsky was great besides the 2nd goal
Meszaros had some nice hits
Hartnell is still stupid
Zherdev, still no prodcution, but I noticed him backchecking very well. Effort is good to see.
JVR rocks
Carle was great on the pinches

He is playing with so much confidence and making the right decisions. It looks like he could lead a pairing right now.

BTW, at what point doe Lavi have to waive Bartulis or Walker?

Yeah, as you know I am not Carle's biggest fan, but he has been great so far. His pinches are always perfect, and he is playing physical too.
