Great game by Carter, Mez was real strong, and Carle is looking fantastic imo
Are we witnessing Roo turning into a superstar and would it make sense to offer him a 9 year 30 mill contract right now. Load it up front a bit for Ferrarii money and hope we can get him to a low cap hit.
Hartnell is probably the dumbest player on our team. He just can't help it. I can not believe we are paying him over 4M a year. Dude is just plain ****ing stupid. ****..
Our PP needs to start producing though if we want to maintain this success. It would also help if Hartnell could do something besides take bad penalties (and, in one case this game, help cause a goal against) and Zherdev to do anything period.
Standouts of this game were Bobrovsky, Carter, Carle, Richards, Giroux, and pretty much the rest of the defense. Even Shelley had a pretty good first period.
Briere and Carle are really growing on me. Briere keeps coming up big every year in some form or another and Carle has made some very timely defensive decisions over the last season (including the few games this season).
Meszaros and O'Donnell are so much better than Bartulis Parent it's ridiculous. Those guys getting 15+ minutes a night is going to do wonders for this team when the playoffs come around. I Didn't know Meszaros was that strong - he sure knocks people around easily.

Also Coburn has played very well.
Bartulis gets some unwarranted hate. O'Donnell has looked very bad in the first 2 games, and had an ok game tonight. Plus O'Donnell is a veteran with 15+ years of experience.
Bartulis has only played 2/3 of a season, and has lots of room to develop. I am hoping they rotate him in still.
personally I could never live in Boston. too long of a list.
