I can not wait to be able to play Markov-Spacek for 15 minutes of a game and Hamrlik-Subban for a seperate half (give or take).
This team will be on another level (from its current one, not in comparison to the rest of the NHL or anything hyperbolistic) when Markov and Subban are both dressed, we haven't had a proper taste of that yet.

The powerplay improvement alone will be enough to win games.
now lets all cross our fingers he stays healthy for the rest of the year
When Subban wasnt there, Markov was the one targeted on our blueline, other teams knew Markov was our only elite puckmover, now they have both Markov and Subban to target, so I expect Markov to get a bit less punishment, what should help him to stay healthy.. Its looking good!!
For some reason, the return of Markov or Harmlik doesn't make me as happy as the fact that O'Byrne is out of the line-up.
O'Byrne should be playing in Hamilton.

Ya, Subban will take some pressure off Markov.
But, Markov also got injured by an innocent play , the type of play that any D man will have to make numerous times per game, with or without PK.
With Hamrlik and Markov back this team looks so much better on the back end, Picard hasn't looked good and O'Byrne has looked like he is afraid to make a mistake and is second guessing himself.
- tough luck. At least we both understand what kind of reaction this news deserves.
I do agree with the rest of your post, and I'd also like to point out this will hugely help Spacek, who's been looking pretty sketchy out there since the start of camp. Alleviating his (and Gill's) minutes is critical to our success in the long run.
Much like everyone else, I can't wait to see Markov and Subban be in the same line-up. However, it should be interesting to see which style of play the team leans more towards.
Markov sometimes has a tendency to slow down the pace of the game, and look for those perfect breakout passes, while Subban tends to speed up the game and attempts to go through the neutral zone all by himself.
The long-awaited powerplay is just going to be amazing to watch. You have the General dictating pace of the man advantage, with Prime Time ready to take a slap shot, and Jedi Cammy waiting in his "office" for the one-timer.
The only thing really holding us back the first two games have been the powerplay and our defense... Markov and Hammer returning fixes both of those problems! A first PP blueline of Markov Subban and a respectable second pairing of Hammer and Spacek is perfect!!! Just what we need to wake Gomez and Gio back up!
If true, holy crap that would be awesome. I just hope he's not rushing himself back instead of taking the time to properly recover. Then again, who rushes themselves when the team has only played two games and posts a 1-1-0 record?
eXACTly CS. If hes coming back, its because he's ready, not because he's rushing it, this is game 5 were talking about, not the playoffs.
markov back in our line up makes us look, ..man, its tough to say this, but it makes us a REALLY REALLY good team, i dont care what anyone says.

The fact that Markov buckled liked that is scary.
lol wow calm down, it was a borderline blindside hit by a player who borderline crosses the line on most of his hits after said player has dispursed of the puck...
it was a "dirty" player going after a "its the playoffs, coach tells you to target their best defenseman" play...
its just really unfortunate a ACL was torn because of it, but it doesnt happen everyday.. if anything, markov learnt from it, but may also have lost half a step.

What play were you watching????? It wasn't borderline anything. It was a routine play you see countless of times. It's just borderline because the culprit is one of a bad reputation. Separate emotion to reality. The only person at fault is Markov for not taking a clean hit properly.
